It had to many locals living in the hotel

I didn't like that I had to argue with the person checking me in and he's telling me that I only had one room with 2 beds when in fact I had two rooms with two beds. I don't like how my bill is not itemized I cannot find anything that has both rooms on my emails or anything that breaks down what I'm paying for each room and I have asked for one. One of my bills only has one room on it for two nights and another just had my total on it. I want to know what exactly I am paying for down to the fees and taxes. Didn't know there would be a $25 deposit fee when you got there. The sign read like it was only for rooms if you paid cash. That was aggravating. It might not be a big deal to some people but $375 is a lot to me and my family so anything extra is big for us. Also they knew that we had six people in our party but they did not give us a joining rooms which made no sense so half of our party was in one hallway and the other one was in another. They're smoking rooms were on one side of that hallway and directly across was the non-smoking. So you still smelled smoke again may not be a big deal for some people but for me my daughter was asthma it is. The shower and the sink did not drain correctly, in a timely manner so by the time you got done brushing teeth and rinsing out your mouth you had all that spit floating on the top of the lever and then it lays in the sink... gross. And same for the shower you flush everything off of you and then and water up to your ankles with all your dirt and sweat and river grime on you, I for one like to rinse everything including the feet that I just washed. A day on the river and we come back to the hotel and key cards won't let us in the door. Got the reprogrammed or whatever...few hours later come back from getting food and the cards won't work again. Again have to go up to the main desk.

Could use some renovations and clean up the grounds

Tweakers living in woods behind it and could hear them cussing and fighting the whole time . Breakfast was not really there not everyone eats waffles . No pool .

I was charged twice on my card. Once by booking.com and once by the front desk and was thrown out when I refused to pay a third time. They said my card was declined and it was showing processed on my card. Trying to get the charges reversed is a nightmare. Booking.com says I have to deal with the hotel, the hotel says I have to deal with Booking.com. The hotel was on speakerphone last night with Booking.com, and I was present, yet Booking.com says the hotel never responded to them. In my opinion this hotel and booking.com are scammers.

Old run down mold in bathroom

The place stunk it was very dirty and the staff was unfriendly.
