Categories

Cleanliness
7.8
Many reviews praise rooms as clean and tidy and housekeeping is noted positively, but several reports mention foul/chemical smells on arrival, stained bedding, filthy carpet and bathroom floors in some rooms — overall mixed cleanliness with notable negative incidents.
Service
9.5
Staff repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and accommodating; multiple guests explicitly praise staff and state they would return or recommend the property.
Location
9.3
Location is frequently cited as convenient — easy access off I‑90, walkable to town and excellent for attending Tanglewood — consistently positive mentions.
Room Quality
7.2
Rooms are often described as small but serviceable and beds comfortable; however several serious complaints (loud rattling A/C, smoke alarm chirping, strong scented air freshener, stained linens, lingering odors) lower room quality.
Amenities
7.8
Property is noted as older with few amenities; free breakfast and basic facilities are available but limited extras and crowding in the breakfast area reduce the amenity score.
Value for Money
8.6
Multiple guests state the cost is reasonable for the area and overall stays are considered fine for the price despite some shortcomings.
Food and Beverage
8.2
Breakfast is frequently praised as good and a highlight, though some guests mention limited options and a crowded breakfast room at peak times.
Overall Experience
8.8
Overall sentiment skews positive with many repeat guests, recommendations, and statements of a great experience, tempered by isolated but impactful negative incidents (odor, stains, noisy A/C, smoke alarm) that affected some stays.

Pros:

The room was small, but clean, although a foul order, like someone had vomited. No sign of this, but definitely an oder.
