I have stayed at the motel 8 for about 14 years and never had been disappointed.
But this time I was very disappointed no no fruit and so much more there was not whole wheat bread no bagels.
It was just not the same!
The cleaning.
It used to be a clean motel.
I understand that it is older, but that doesn’t bother me. The cleaning could be done better!
Quiet, affordable
The breakfast options were plentiful. Location was perfect for us. We were able to park near the entry door closest to get to our room. Having 3 good bed pillows was great! The AC was in working condition.
This location does not have an elevator and you're almost guaranteed that you'll be on the 2nd floor even if you request main floor. It can be a hike to your room from the main lobby. The window in our room could NOT be opened! It quite obviously needs to be repaired. Luckily, the AC worked.
It was a convenient location. The breakfast was ok. The hallways were not clean, the room desired a lot - not real clean.
Cleanliness could have been a lot cleaner. The driveway and parking lot was bad.
Location and value.
Facility has not been kept up (stains on carpet, landscaping , parking lot, stains in shower). I have stayed here in the past and it was in much better condition. Could use a remodel. Was also not as clean as in past stays.
It was in good location for our travel
No elevator to second floor, rooms need to be updated and cleaned thoroughly .
Staff was friendly, breakfast was okay. Lots of channels on the tv.
When i first stepped in the doors, I was hit by the smell of marijuana. Lots of little hairs in the bathroom and the soaps from the last habitant were left behind. I couldn’t sleep due to the marijuana smells and traffic was noisy outside my window.

The sheets and toilet were clean. The location was convenient. The young lady who checked us in was friendly and trying hard to do a good job.
The whole place smelled like a dirty bong, and it was strongest near the office in the front. Our room had a broken towel bar, broken hair dryer, dirty window, and a layer or dirt/dust on all the surfaces. Breakfast was not well stocked and the man I asked for coffee creamer did not get off his phone or verbally reply to me. He just looked annoyed and put more creamer out then left. Grounds were also littered with trash. Will not stay there again or recommend this hotel to anybody that I like even a little bit.
Close to everything we came for: shopping options great selections nearby, good food options nearby, friendly staff and helpful, beds were comfortable, it was quiet, and we had microwave and fridge in the room- that was an unexpected plus. Breakfast was good if you get there early- we did that on morning 1 and it was hot and fresh. Expect no yogurt or biscuits if you go after 8am on a Saturday or Sunday morning, though. Sausage gravy was good on bread (2 out of 3 of us had it on bread; the guy in front of us hoarded 6 biscuits for himself, and his companion had a plate of some as well). Normally I wouldn’t pay so close of attention but there was a wall sign stating for consideration sake not taking more than one can reasonably eat for waste reasons and that there are other people to be mindful of. It was the first ‘vacation’ we’ve been on in 3 years, maybe things have changed or he had the morning munchies?
Bathroom cleanliness was okay- someone else’s hair was on the sink, in the sink, on the ledge behind sink, and shower gel beads (little blue ones) in bottom of bath tub, a few larger potholes in the parking lot might be ok for larger trucks and vehicles, not so much for smaller to midsize cars. The police patrolled and one person with a “please give me” sign stood at an intersection nearby throughout the stay in between patrol rounds.
