This motel worked great for us and we will definitely come back the next time we are in the area.

Complete waste of money an sanity...owner was very rude..had no customer service experience an refused to accommodate in any way .acted as his motel was trump plaza of something lol . .pool)hotub had sooo much chlorine an water was soo dirty my wife an daughter immediately broke out in hives /rash all j Ed there body which within a day turned into blisters . I'm not saying there's bugs here but we definitely couldn't stop itching ... Oh an the I'm very thankful for breakfast accomodations but I mean waffles and yogurt everyday ?? No fresh juice or milk . And waffle maker handle was broke .. when any of these issues were brought to there attention he says me don't have none those my motel is up to date an we do no wrong blah blah blah ..I wanted to really "report" him especially when the maid thinks the hallways are there personal amusement park with how loud an fast she was (headache)😭 as far as st james area the location is ideal to be able an get what's available oh an the roooms, beds were comfortable yes but shower didn't work .. The eat stayed tremendously HOT no adjusting ..an had to go buy our own batteries to put in remote after going to front desk not once, not twice , but 3 times. Getting different remotes .. absolute waste of money for over a 100 a night I'd rather sleep in the SUV.. an os for future purposes stop using sooo much of that stinking smell that u seem to spray / soak down everything with .just to cover up the nasty ..if I could give negative stars I would ..we were in room 117 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! I will be reporting to BBB good lucc everyone .

Cons:

Was traveling with my adult disabled daughter and for the second time, still no batteries for the lift chairs to help get in and out of the pool. And they didn't seem to give two shits about it

Bed was comfortable, quiet room, slept good!
Pros:

The breakfast was good, quite a variety, scrambled eggs and some potatoes would be good, the biscuits and gravy were blah, overall pretty decent!

Cons:

The bathroom fan was very noisy, couldn't use it during the night for fear of waking up my wife as it is connected to the light switch!!

Would probably stay again if in the area since it was the only commercial motel in the area.
Pros:

Breakfast was average. No lids for paper coffee cups.

Cons:

Entire inside of motel smelled very musty/mouldy.
The bed covers, while clean, had a heavy soap odor to them.

The place is rather a bit of a dump. We will not be returning.
Cons:

My wife was injured, while just walking up by the bed, by metal part of the bed that was covered by the bedskirt. Management did respond quickly but she had a large bump and swelling at her ankle. The outlets do not support the new generation of chords for electronics. The place needs a lot of work.

HOUSEKEEPERS RUINED THE SLEEP
Pros:

We stayed in room 117 and the room was good. check in was easy with the young guy.it was all good before the morning experience. In the morning around 8-10 AM, the housekeeper lady was shouting very loud while cleaning a room near mine, and was talking to someone on phone very very very very very loud. when she got off, a kid was walking like horse on the hallway which ruined the sleep. cant they just keep it simple at that early time, i am sure other people were definetely sleeping at that time too. I want owners to see my honest review and tell the housekeeper lady with a kid to stop talking on phone that loud and keep the kid walk slowly on hallways so people can get the rest the paid for.

A quick night after a football game on our way to Nebraska.
Pros:

It was where we needed it to be and it was pretty clean.

Cons:

We booked there because of the hot tub and the hot tub was out of order while we were there, plus the hours were short. We could have gone closer to a destination for the next day but chose to stay there because of the hot tub.
