RISKING LIFE AND MONEY TO STAY HERE!
Pros:

Super 8, Powel, Wy

CAROL HOLSTEIN

This hotel is run by CROOKS and LIARS! When you check in at night, there isn't anyone manning the front desk. They have a wire basket with a paper sign saying, "look for your name on the envelope. That is your room key" I have never heard of a thing!!! Anyone could grab your key before you arrive, unlock your door, return the key, and wait inside till you get there!!! The next morning, the man housekeeper opens my door and steps in without knocking. I had net him in the parking lot at approximately 9:00 am when he said he was a housekeeper and asked what room I was in. When I went to check out, there was no one at the desk, again! I waited when no one came I asked the housekeepers where the front desk person was. They didn't know. After a few more minutes, I left because I had an appointment in Cody. I have never left a hotel without doing a proper checkout, trusting the property and never will again! Two days later, I check my credit card charges and these crooks charged me an additional $40.00 for a late checkout!!! Wyndham says they are independent franchises and there is nothing they can do. Makes me question why I have been loyal to Wyndham all these years! I'm going to spend all my rewards points on rooms this summer and I'm done! This hotel risks your safety by leaving your keys on the counter of an unmanned desk and then over charges you. You risk your life and your money by staying here

SAFETY: They leave your room keys with your name on the envelope on the counter of an unmanned front desk, with a big sign telling you to locate your keys and they alread checked you in, while they are in bed sleeping. And they get mad when you call and wake them up trying to get checked in!!!

TRUSTWORTHY: They add charges to your bill wherever they think they can get-a-way with it.

I, actually, left a $20.00 cash tip in the room for the housekeepers, which I 100% regret now, because the man told me he and his wife were the housekeepers!

Disappointing
Pros:

The check in went fine, the room seemed clean enough, but the beds were terrible. We hardly slept the two night we were there. My husband's bed slanted ot the side and mine was so lumpy and uncomfortable I could hardly sleep. Recommend new beds at some point in time. Other than that it was a place to flop but not a bargain at 139.00 a night.

The place needs updating
Pros:

Not much

Cons:

The air conditioner was very noisy. The breakfast area needed a good cleaning and the mop bucket needs to be put in the closet.

Cons:

Girl at the front desk was rude. She refused to give us more than two drinking cups for 3 day stay. The fridge in our room didn't work. I asked for ground floor in my request box and was put up 2 flights of stairs. The grill was rude when I asked for another room.Bathroom sink faucet has only hot water.

Pros:

Be honest not much.

Cons:

The room had a bad odor, we tried everything to air it out and it would not go away. Floors have never been vacuumed, the shower curtain wouldnt stay in place and also I heard a clunking sound all night long. Coffee was not made at one point and the receptionist seems to sleep during the day. I would never stay at this place again. For the 2 that were cleaning our rooms (husband and wife), they were very friendly and always gave us what we needed.
Breakfast was just pancakes and the syrup bottles had no top just open containers.

Not horrible, until we didnt get our refund!
Pros:

The breakfast wasnt horrible, not fancy, but something to put in your tummy.

Cons:

I brought my own cleaner, I knew it wasnt a highly rated motel, we are pretty simple. We were only traveling for my son to participate in a sport We got 2 rooms, one had to be cleaned by us, one not. My main complaint is they were supposed to refund us over 200 for a room change. We were promised twice, and we never received our money back. I gave them plenty of opportunity to refund as they said they would. For me that is the biggest deal, I believe that is a form of theft. I am not big on putting a business down, but people should be aware, especially where not getting your money back is concerned.

Disappointing! Not feeling rested and fed the day after.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

The room walls are so thin you hear everyone else’s noise. The people in the room above ours played the tv until 12:30 a.m. so there was no sleep until after that. Breakfast wasn’t tended until 9 like it should have been. There was only some overly concentrated orange juice and lumpy waffle batter that made really weird waffles. I wouldn’t go there again.
