First when we arrived we were created by an unfriendly staff member, we were the only people there. But she seemed to be having something better to do or place to be. We were assigned the room on a second floor. Upon entering the room it smelled unclean musty, the rooms were decorated in faded old decor, room did not look like it had been cleaned. The garbage cans had garbage in them. And when we went into the bathroom there were holes in the wall and look like it was under repair or some kind of construction and the bathroom was absolutely filthy. We called the front desk to complain about the condition of our room, the desk person that checked us in showed up with key cards to a different room and we were told it was an upgrade. When my partner asked for the receptionist come into the room and look at the bathroom and condition of the room, she was cut off and told yeah this room was a mistake, but I've given you a different room, with the same bad attitude as we got in when we checked in we received upon check-in.. the new room was on the first floor. It looked to be identical to the room we just came from, other than it was clean. We checked in on a Friday Saturday morning around 11:00 when we were leaving for the day I asked a different receptionist if we could have the maid refresh the towels in our room and we're told a long story that the maid couldn't do it because she would only be here for so long. But we could pick up spare house when we came back in, which we did. Sunday first thing I asked for when I was having breakfast at 8:00 a.m. was if our room could be cleaned. It was very quickly which I was grateful for. Upon checkout I could see the main crew and staff that run the show were there, however when I checked out they didn't even bother to ask me how my stay was or if anything was wrong. So overall I would say do not stay here, they should only have a one-star rating if you're lucky.

My room smelled horribly of cigarettes. The employees smoke right by the entrances, several visitors smoke right by the entrances so trying to enter the building was difficult without walking through smoke. The smell of cigarettes in my room was horrible. I could not breathe I had to check out. If you're a Mayo Clinic Patient & already have trouble breathing or cigarett smoke is a trigger for your symptoms save yourself the hassle and just spend the extra money for a nicer place cigarette smoke is not irreversible. It made me sick. & The back door did not work so I kept having to walk all the way around the building. The experience was not patient friendly. The bathroom tub had grime. I will never come back

Wish the breakfast would start a little earlier than 7am on the weekends. Wi-fi seemed little erratic.

The room needs some maintenance done. And the outside parking area needs attention.

When we came in the front door there were people smoking right at the double door. There did not appear to have any smoking area for them away from the entrance. Bad start for Anyone with compromised lungs . #201 fire alarm blinking green light flashed into the mirror all night giving out 4th of July vibes all night. No amount of covering it with towels helped.
