Baymont by Wyndham Panama City Beach

I knew that I was not going to be staying at a 5 star hotel due to the reviews and that is why I did not give a 1 star review. I stayed only for the night because it was a mid point for my trip from New Orleans to St Pete. I specifically chose this hotel because of it's location across the street from the beach and closeness to restaurants. Unfortunately it rained all the time I was there and didn't get to enjoy a dip in the ocean. But I'm just surprised that Wyndham would put their name on a property that is so run down, at least the price matched the property.

They even had to relocate everyone that weekend it was so bad

Stayed for a week and no room service. Had to ask for toilet paper and towels. No offer to change bedding or clean the room while there.

This most horrible place I've ever stayed in my whole life I asked for refund wouldn't do it I also ask for clean lining and towels and never got them the two days I was there I was extremely unhappy

Room was a mess and disgusting. Staff was rude and unfriendly. They've charged my card several times for no reason or rhyme. Can't get any help to fix that problem .

The staff were rude, mold on the bathroom wall! Smh.. smoke alarm we’re going off all night, phone in the room didn’t work. I wouldn’t stay Again

They've charged my card for multiple charges when I paid all fees and taxes when I checked in. Can't get anyone to talk to fix the problem as well

The hostess was very rude the condition of the place was very bad was not given the room that I reserved had no towels or rags in our room had very bad smells in the whole building

The rooms were not maintained. Asked for a replacement room due to plumbing issues in the room, but was not granted the 2nd room until a tech reviewed and approved the switch. The tech took a day to come. Staff wasnt the best either. The main problem with this property is management, it is ran horribly and had a negative experience. Its unfortunate because it has such a great location.

Good stay will book again

Cant complain... When you pay $35 a night to stay right across from the beach it is what it is... We will be back

if you are looking for a reasonable place to sleep if you are going to be out most of the day this is it , the ground was covered in moisture but the guy at the front desk explained it was from humidity and your ac had to be set at a certain temp other than was ok .

The room looked better than the building. Very clean. The proximity to the beach and the rate is the main selling. Can't argue with it.

Terrible on cleanliness. Broken cabinets, seepage in floor and all over. Checked out the very next morning. Bad experience.

Worst experience ever. Do not book here. Bugs in the beds, weird stains, inadequate breakfast options (just cereal and chocolate milk?), AC leakage, and when asked for a refund no one can give me any answers other than “contact the property” who doesn’t answer the phones :) They’ve tried to charge me almost 20 times now and each for a different amount. Emailed the general manager and have yet to hear back. Will never be booking here again.

The property was very run down. Had to pay a $25 resort fee upon checkin that was not described anywhere. The sheets were dirty, the floor was filthy. My room had no towels in it aside from a bath mat that had dirty footprints on it. When I asked for towels I was given two hand towels. The wifi was broken. It is across the street from the beach so that is good and the bed was comfortable.
