Super 8 by Wyndham Centerville-Richmond

Traveling 11 hours on the road. Older building but bed was clean and comfortable, room was neat, AC was cold and the price was right. Would definitely stay again. Staff was lovely.

Great rate on room. This place is pet friendly. It is easy to park and very quiet for sleeping restfully. Staff was extremely pleasant.

I was really hovering over the "book" button because some of the older reviews made me a bit twitchy. However, I decided to take a gamble on this Super 8 for a quick stopover, and I’m genuinely glad I didn't let the negativity sway me.
Is it a luxury palace? No. But for a roadside motel, it totally hit the mark. My room was spotless, the bed was actually comfortable, and I didn't encounter any of the "horror stories" I'd read about. The single-story layout was a lifesaver for my back since I didn't have to lug my bags up any stairs or wait for a slow elevator.
The staff was surprisingly chill and helpful, and being so close to Antique Alley made for a fun morning detour. It’s clear they’ve put in some effort to keep the place tidy. If you’re looking for a reliable, budget-friendly spot to crash near Centerville without breaking the bank, this is a total "win" in my book. Definitely worth the price!

I was able to get a refund and cancel my stay

The property was clean and the air conditioning worked well. BUT it’s very outdated. The carpets could be cleaned at least, there were stains on the bedding and the upholstered chairs. The door to the bathroom didn’t close unless you lifted it up to close. The tub was dripping water constantly. And it didn’t smell very pleasant- it smelled musty. Also the grate on the AC was cracked and missing pieces. To be associated with Wydham I expected much better. Oh and their ice maker was “under maintenance”. For a holiday weekend I expected better.

Absolutely nothing the floor was soaking wet from the refrigerator leaking. The ceiling was falling in. It was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had and I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels.

TV did not work. Everything was outdated. Fire alarm going off disturbed sleeping. Would not recommend this hotel.

Premises and rooms are outdated and slummy! Stains everywhere! I mean EVERYWHERE! (took many pictures but not seeing any place to post?). Internet wouldn't connect! TV had a terrible connection which caused it to freeze up intermittently! Walls had chipping paint and gouges! The best part about staying there was leaving first thing the next morning!!! The Worst!

A great bed, pillows. The carpet needs totally replaced. The chair in the room had unknown stains...should be replaced. A good was the ac was good. The heat was very musty might need to clean and replace filters. Lighting was excellent. The tv did not work but I checked in late so I used my phone n tablet. The refridgerator was cold and the microwave I didn't use. Micro was clean tho. A plus right behind a Dairy Queen brazier. Yum. The shower water was good, the force of water excellent. Just needs cleaned up. Should paint the complete wall rather than just areas that apparently needed a touch up. The owner was pleasant. Cold cereal breakfast only but I think this is what you get at this price point. oh...towels were soft, and very clean white. The hair dryer worked very well. I took it for the price and did expect some things. I do like to nicely make the above suggestions. Not meant to be negative.
