Very pleasant stay.
Pros:

We were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent breakfast options, which included egg omelettes, baked goods, cereal choices, and hot beverages, as well as fresh fruit.

All in all, we had a wonderful stay and will probably stay there again someday!
Pros:

Everything was clean, the location was great. The beds were comfortable, the pool was nice and the food was good.

Cons:

The rooms were kind of small. Would’ve been nice to have had more bath towels. And lots of times there was no staff in the office.

Pros:

We choose this hotel because they had a family suite with three beds. The price was fantastic and had a good location. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Our bedding didn’t seem to be clean. We found multiple hairs on pillow and blankets. We had to ask for new bedding. There also wasn’t a daily maid service. Our one trash can was overflowing on day one. It would have been nice to have clean towels daily as well and to at least empty trash cans.

Pleasantly surprised! Exceeded my expectations!
Pros:

I stayed at Super 8 by Wyndham Buena Vista on February 13, 2026, and I’ll admit—I was a little leery after reading some of the reviews. I’m so glad I booked it anyway because we had a fabulous stay!
The pool was clean, actually warm, and fully heated. The hot tub was also very clean, and the jets were perfect. We had the entire pool and hot tub to ourselves on a Friday night—which is rare!
The shower had great pressure with instantly hot water. The beds were very comfortable. The mini fridge was impressively cold (just how I like it). Plenty of TV channels, and the heating/air controls were easy to adjust and worked perfectly. No bad odors whatsoever. I also appreciated that it’s only two floors—it felt quiet and easy to access. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, smiling, and helpful.
Breakfast pleasantly surprised me: bacon, potatoes, pastries, cereal, yogurt, orange juice, apple juice—and the coffee was excellent.
It’s walkable to several restaurants and only 0.9 miles from the Ivy Ballroom at the Surf Hotel, which was perfect since we were in town for a concert.
And the best part of all? The view from our window—absolutely stunning sculpted, snow-capped mountains.
We would definitely stay again.

Best value in Buena vista, amazing owners
Pros:

Great staff, decor and cleanliness. Pool room is lovely and breakfast was awesome: eggs, bacon, waffle maker station, juices, coffee, doughnuts ect enjoyed the friendly people working there and the rooms were cozy and had everything. We will be back!

the lights were tricky, light switches and switches on light fixture had to be same
gaps in door frame, could see light from outside. we were glad it was summer and not winter

items stolen from the room while we were at the event necessitating the stay and staff seemed unconcerned and indifferent about assisting to help identify person responsible. Staff stated no working cameras at this facility. Broken lamps in the room. 200.00 per night ridiculous.

Everything. We paid for a room with two Queen beds, we got one Queen bed. The staff member said no price change or compensation. The room did not feel clean, the sink mirror had water splatter, the TV was not working…after asking for help, the staff member said somebody must had switched remotes. The shower had a half bottle of used shampoo, we asked for new. The sheet had a blue stain, not sure what that was. The curtains had holes. Room 106, Buena Vista, CO. No front desk number designated on the phone. The pool looked like it had a scum on the surface, nobody was swimming….they must have seen it too. The jacuzzi was room temperature.
