Super 8 by Wyndham Rochester

I'm thinking my air conditioner didn't work.

I initially booked with the super 8next door. After I paid I was told something happened to my room and I needed to walk to the hotel next door and I was staying there. There were people all over outside partying, the grounds weren’t kept up. Weeds growing thru the gravel. Place looked ghetto and very run down. I did not feel safe here. Thankfully I was only there to sleep. Google said there was a pool at the comfort inn. There is not. I didn’t entertain breakfast. Beds super uncomfortable. Bedding had yellow stains all over. Wads of hair in the bedding and shower.

Price relative to value was poor.

Rooms were unclean and moldy. Bed was untidy. We could not stay at this hotel.
I called ahead of time, and no one returned my call.
This was not a situation appropriate for accommodating guests from out of town.
Manager was unwilling to refund any of the cost.

The bad smell in hall way

Lobby/entrance had a rancid smell. Garbage in lobby was full to the top. Cracked mirror in the room. Shower did not look clean, shower head was dirty. Towels were yellow and stained. Comforters on beds looked very old and wrinkled, pillows were old and uncomfortable. Room did not look like it had been cleaned very well.

This place is completely run down. Do not book this location. Cigarette butts cover the entrance. No lights on in the entry. Lobby is dirty. Stairs had trash on them. There was no air conditioning in the entry. It was 92 degrees with nearly 100% humidity. To top it off, they wanted to charge $30 per dog for a cleaning fee. My 2 dogs are cleaner than this place. The attendant asked why we did not want to stay. I gave her the reasons above. She said the cleaning lady has not cleaned yet. I told her this is a place of business, you are supposed to keep it clean.

The room needs a lot of work.

The place could be cleaned up. The outside looked horrible. cut the grass and clean up the landscaping. Pull the weeds Make the place look inviting. Rooms need updating. Bathrooms are old.
