Super 8 by Wyndham Roseburg

Our floor in our hotel room was filthy. Even the bathroom floor was dirty. when I put down the bath mat the water droplets from the shower made actual mud stains on the towels. There was also dust on the head board of the bed and the room smelled like onions and mold. The air conditioner didn't work and also smelled like mold. The light bulbs were harsh cold LED bulbs and not cozy at all.

I chose Super 8 for value but I expected AT LEAST to be clean. So disappointing and disgusting.

Immediately entering I realized the tv didn’t work, the cable wouldn’t turn on. I went down and told them. They never came up. I had to fix the tv myself after waiting for hours. The customer service lacked heavily. They never cleaned my room at all. I even asked for towels and they told me they gave us plenty. We had 4 people and only got two big towels. A bunch of small ones but nothing to dry off. I asked for some and was told they didn’t have any and would bring some in the morning. They never came. The pool was super dirty with all kinds of hair in it and the pool room smelled. The breakfast at least had waffles. No protein though.

Multiple things.
1. The price
2. Room key stopped working multiple times. Which was a huge safety hazard with my small child. I was not able to access my room when I needed. My fiance had to leave us in the hall by own room on the 3rd floor to go down to the desk to wait in a large line to get it fixed while leaving me and our child with another couple who were not friendly with threatening behavior, roaming the same floor.
3. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. So much that I could not sleep for tje 2 nights we had to stay. Along with my fiance. We woke up so sore and I could hardly move tje second morning. I already suffer back problems. That wasn't even bothering me until I had to sleep on a very firm springy mattress.
4. The entire room smelled of smoke. It was a non smoking room.
5. The thin blinds were no help to the very bright street lights.
6. Dirty walls. You could see splatters on them. Dirty floor. Our feet were black after walking bare foot so when we got to bed the sheets were dirty.
7. The fridge was making a remarkable squealing noise that got louder after periods of time so we had to unplug it. Which made our food bad and drinks warm. The AC had a smell coming from it.
8. Housekeeping let my fiance in our room by just askimg his room number. Huge safety issue.
9. Tv was not working. Had sound. No picture.

The only really complaint I have is just the breakfast toast options. The sweet waffles, cheap pretend bagels and english muffins were disappointing. But, the woman taking care of the breakfast area was so nice, and kept the place clean and well stocked..

I booked on Booking.com and stated I had dogs. I was not told it was an extra $30 a day when booking. The extra $90 did not make me happy. I talked to the manager and he gave me a $30 discount. This should have been disclosed at the time of booking and wasn't.

Having a crying baby next door. And a barking dog across the hall.

Toilet in my room was filthy. Fecal matter and urine on the seat.

Hated the queen beds sucked they where hard and I got no sleep because of it ☹️ but other than that it was great

Coffee maker was weird. Full cup of water only made half a cup of coffee. Breakfast with a few more offerings would have been nice. Water entry plants!
