Property and rooms need updating need better shades on east side so rooms are darker

close to fast food,main roads and Upper Iowa University

For the area, this hotel is well equipped.

Everything was just fine except for the free WiFi.

While i have stayed here before, it is clear that the owner has no intention on getting the ice machine fixed. Also, side access doors are unlocked 24/7. Also noticed damaged window frame in stairway has not been repaired either.

The hotel lost my initial reservation that I made online. I had to pay when I checked in. And as of nearly a month later, the hotel management has not worked with the reservation company to return my money. I stayed at the hotel for four days. Only one of the four days did they clean my room even after I left a message for them to do so. 3 of the 4 nights, I had to go to the front desk and get towels. The wifi barely worked and was not good enough to maintain conference calls for work during the day. At night, the wifi was nearly useless when the hotel was full. This was unfortunate as I have used this hotel faithfully for more than 20 years. The front desk staff tried to be helpful when they were around to be reached. This is the only hotel in town and it is unfortunate the owner has not been responsive to the double payment issue. I have emailed the hotel on multiple occasions to try to get this resolved but the owner continues to fail to contact me with any response.

Very nice hotel and staff. Only issue was a lot of flies and gnats

They are short of staff so getting someone at the front desk was difficult. The beds were hard as cement making it hard to sleep. Carpets need to be clean.

The front desk associate was nice and friendly. However, the ice machine was out of order and we did not get housekeeping (not even towels). When we requested towels at the front desk, we were told it was uncertain due to the laundry schedule. There is a very small pool, but no hot tub. The breakfast was mediocre, but signage limited the number of items allowed per guest. Rooms and furnishings are worn. It was expensive considering the facility and quality of our stay.

The place is very clean and kept up on. It was nice swimming and playing games without having a huge crowd of people as well.

Very friendly staff. Older property but very clean, with comfortable beds. Would stay again!

No ice machine Mold on English muffin I started to toast

The staff is always so nice and accommodating. I travel from out of state and they always have a room ready when I arrive.

It was very quiet. The staff was wonderful. Enjoyed my stay. Will stay again..
