We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing, friendly, and responsive to anything we needed. Would highly recommend for anyone traveling to see Notre Dame!
room was clean and comfortable
There were bugs everywhere there was fecal matter in the bathroom. There was trash left in the room. It was disgusting. We would never return.
The air conditioning did not cool the room or take out any humidity. The microwave just about started a fire when we tried to use. The room was celan but bathroom needed more attention. When we got there, the tub and sink had hair in it and I had to kill a few bugs
Worst place ever stayed
Staff was great. Rooms in bad need of updates
Booked a king size room and was given 2 doubles. Water pressure in shower was subpar. Weird, musty smell throughout hotel. Came down for free breakfast and staff had already put food away before serving time was over.
The hotel is dated, with old floors and stairs. The hotel does not have an elevator and low water pressure in the shower. But the mattress was excellent, the room was clean, which trumps most everything else.
Great place on a budget.
Horrible odor in the hallway, damaged walls
great place to stay. the people there were great and very helpfull. place was clean, breakfast was very good and the coffee hot..
I stayed at this hotel during a business trip and the experience was below acceptable standards. The room was dirty and had a strange, unpleasant smell. Paint was peeling from the walls, and the bathroom door had a hole in it, as if someone had punched through it. There were visible cracks, rust, and even mold around the AC unit, which is a serious health concern.
The bed was uncomfortable and had a dip in the center which clearly indicates it should have been replaced long ago. This hotel is not suitable for anyone expecting even a basic level of cleanliness and upkeep.
If you are looking for a motel in a stripmall feel, this is the spot for you. Not overly clean, multiple doors broken/not working, and the room/bathroom is tiny. Not worth close to the price paid, would not recommend.
This property was not super clean. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke. The bathroom fan was so loud it sounded like a blender. The TV report was duck taped.
This was a very expensive hotel for the quality of stay (over $400+ a night). Room was not fully cleaned upon checking in, it was evident they hadn't looked over the room entirely prior to letting us go in - it was dirty and had traces from the last guests. Not good transportation options from hotel to downtown South Bend area and not a super helpful staff. Would not recommend.
Disgusting and unsafe.Doors wouldn’t lock correctly. Another room smelled like smoke. Would never recommend nor stay there again.
Upon arriving you could smell the mold that they are trying to cover up with bleach.
They checked us in and our roof had pizza sauce all over the comforter.
The second and third rooms all had stains and nasty areas.
Watch out for falling tiles in the lobby. One fell and hit me while waiting for the room keys.
They said they would put in for a refund and have not yet.
Patiently waiting on the property and Expedia to make this correct.
Overpriced for a place with cracks in the sink, missing outlet covers, and falling apart lampshades
The bedroom was stained, the door didn’T close properly and was open upon our arrival, forcing us to search the room before we felt safe. Would never pick this place and only happened due to Notre Dame’s drop off week and lack of rooms available.
This hotel is a total dump. I do not know how people can stay at this hotel and the company has not done a single update. Our room door did not even have a secure locking system on the door frame! Unbelievable! The smell of the hotel was awful. Everything in that hotel needed replaced. Looked very very old. Please do yourself a favor and look some place else to stay. The hotel looked very sketchy and we left. We didn’t even stay there as we had a family emergency and they wouldn’t even help us to get our money back. There was no way even if we didn’t have a family emergency we would have a huge problem laying our head down to sleep at this hotel feeling safe. Hasn’t a district manager come to look over their hotel, and see how horrible it looks. We swear this hotel hasn’t been remodeled since the 70’s. DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION HERE AT THIS HOTEL YOU CAN THANK US LATER. Our review will probably not be published cause of the horrible review, but sorry it’s the truth!
