Disapointed about the shared bathroom situation, but all else was OK.
Pros:

The apartment was well appointed with modern decor and facilities, and all equipment as described. The garden setting was pleasant and well maintained. The area was very quiet. There is a bus that runs past the front of the property regularly, to various destinations.

Cons:

The apartment was described on Booking.com as having an 'en suite bathroom', but this is not correct. There is one bathroom and a separate toilet, for the whole apartment. In other words, the occupants of both bedrooms have to use the same bathroom facilities. Which is fine, if that is what you are expecting. But 'en suite bathroom' means that the main bedroom has it's own bathroom off the bedroom, and there is therefore another main bathroom for other occupants, which is what I was expecting. I actually queried this before booking and the answer implied that my expectation was correct. It should in fact say 'one bathroom and separate toilet for whole apartment'. Or, '2 bedrooms , sharing 1 bathroom and separate toilet'. Or show a floor plan. I suspect that the actual fact of the shared (i.e. not en suite) bathroom is a deliberate obfuscation, but since other aspects were good, we let it go.
