Check in process quite unique having to enter diner to do so. Was a bit slow due to only ONE staff member in charge of cooking in diner AND running check in's. Enjoyed QUIET hotel and very small town atmosphere where hotel is located. Overall was a very pleasant experience. ☺️

Llegamos y el cuarto estaba sucio,
Nos cambiaron a otro con 1 cama, cuando habíamos pedido 2, no hay recepción ni gente que atienda
Took over 2 hours to get into our room after arrival. Someone opened our door at midnight with another key, luckily the door safety bar prevented entry. Then someone knocked on door at 2 am waking us again.
Beds were comfortable and room smelled clean.
Had to wait for room to be cleaned. No one was there to check us in. Staff said staffing was very short that day.
I usually stay at this facility 2 or 3 times a year but this will be the last until improvements are made. The entire property is very dirty and needs a major top to bottom cleaning. When I checked into my room there was no toilet paper, Kleenex or cups. I went down to the laundry room where the door was open but unattended and found the supplies I needed. New locks were installed but the exit doors were propped open day and night. Fire doors in elevator vestibules were propped open. Staff untrained
It is an ok place and served the purpose of a place to sleep and shower. Pennys Dinner was good and we enjoyed the food. We booked a king bed but when we arrived they only had double beds. They did compensate with a free meal at Pennys dinner. It was a a nostalgic trip as we installed all the mechanical in the Dinner when it opened 25 years ago, great memories
Location
Carpet was filthy. Not vacuumed. Restaurant was just OK for the price.
This place is really run down. For almost $250 a night, I expect a pretty decent place, this is like a $70 per night hotel. While it is poor condition, the room was clean aside from the urine in the toilet.
My mom reserved a room with a queen bed, they gave her a room with a singe twin and did not offer to drop her rate. The place was completely booked, due to a volleyball tournament in a neighboring town, so she could not get a different room.
My daughter is on the volleyball team, they had booked rooms with 2 double beds. When they arrived, they were told they only had rooms with single beds. It was already late, and this is the only hotel in town, so they couldn't go somewhere else. Half of the girls had to sleep on the floor or in the chairs. Complete incompetence, and again they did not offer to reduce the rate.
The positives were that it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Next year, we will stay in Edwards and drive an hour in the morning to get to the tournament.
