Sehr gelungenes Wochenende in Köln mit einer 360 Grad Tour.
Pros:

Die Lage und das Frühstück war gut. Der Parkplatz ist direkt am Hotel und für 10€ pro Tag echt sehr günstig. Das Hotel hat Charm.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war viel zu warm. Es war bei der Hitzewelle nicht auszuhalten. Leider gab es keine Klimaanlage. Der Turmlüfter hat funktioniert, war aber sehr verstaubt.

It is a very beautiful and historic building.

The shower was AMAZING.

Cons:

The breakfast was really expensive (16,50 euros) and didn't have much variety.

The elevator doesn't go till reception. You have to climb 2 flights of stairs.

Ruhige Übernachtung in Köln
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Bett war bequem. Das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, fast direkt am Rhein, um entspannt Richtung Zentrum zu gehen. Wirklich schön. Zum Musical haben wir 15 Min gebraucht. Nur ein paar Schritte vom Hotel haben wir problemlos einen kostenlosen (sonntags) Parkplatz gefunden.

Disappointing: would not recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Exterior of the hotel was nice. Person on reception was amenable.

Cons:

Despite contacting the hotel six months before our trip and asking for two single beds (as I was travelling with my son, they gave us a room with a double bed. They said they could change us to a room with two beds but I would have to pay €50 to do so. The manager would not change their mind on this, despite two requests. I think this is unacceptable.

Stilvolle Villa in ruhiger aber zentrumsnaher Lage mit ausreichend Parkraum
Pros:

Stilvolles und gemütliches Ambiente im ehemaligen Musikinstrumente-Museum. Das Thema Musik wird in Bildern und der Dekoration aufgegriffen. Sehr ruhig, eigener Parkplatz, dazu ausreichend Parkraum an der Straße. Innenstadtnah, drei Stationen mit der U-Bahn zum Dom und zum Museum Ludwig. Sauber, freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Ich fand es perfekt. Andere mögen vielleicht kritisieren, dass das Mobiliar nicht ganz neu ist, aber das gehört eben zu dem charmanten historischen Ambiente.
