Hyatt House LAX Manhattan Beach

This hotel was wonderful. Loved everything about it especially the free breakfast. I didn't have to leave the hotel hahaha my family and I will be booking here again

Hotel was clean inside and out. Hot breakfast available with a great atmosphere. Front desk staff were very professional. Checked me in with zero issues and even ran up some extra towels late at night. Ive stayed here dozens of timee and is always my go to hotel

Great hotel that’s tucked away from busy roads but a hop and skip away from any major. The Hotel is going through a big renovation and didn’t feel like anything was out of place and the staff are so welcoming and helpful. The General manager was so accommodating and personable, she made me feel like family. I’ll rebook every time I’m in town.

This is an older hotel that is showing its age. The room was clean and quiet. The major issue was the lack of an elevator. There’s no mention of that in the hotel description online. The room numbering is a little confusing. We were in room 133 which is on the 3rd floor, so no elevator with our large suitcases was tough. Price included breakfast which was ok, nothing special. We ended up going across the street to Starbucks for better coffee.

NO ELEVATOR!!!!! If their website had mentioned there wasn't an elevator we would never have come here. Lugging big bags up down the sidewalk and up the stairs was a challenge as we are in our seventies. The desk said someone would come and help but they only showed up after we gave up and carried them up. Room was worn out and many things were broken. Ice maker, dishwasher door, very noisy refrigerator. Furniture chipped and saggy. Good breakfasts but otherwise not up to what I expect from Hyatt. I think this was an old Sonesta. Concrete chipped, worn, needs a lot more care!

Horrible pull-out sleeper sofa with a blood-colored stain. Charging $20 for parking. Blank unlabeled bottles of water being handed out. Dated and tired rooms.

I’m writing this review having noted the recent very negative reviews.

I have stayed there a number of times (including staying there whilst writing this review).

The rooms are comfortable. Possibly due for a refurbish but are clean, large and have an adequate kitchen. Housekeeping do a good job.

The location is great - handy to many transport options and close to supermarkets etc.

Good pool. There is an outdoor seating area. Have not used the BBQ.

I have found the service consistently good. An example of this is normally accommodating me in my preferred rooms (and that is done with a smile - I acknowledge I’m not the easiest customer!).

The location is the only reason why i gave this a 1 star. The rooms were muggy, humid, and moldy. The dishwasher had rust in it and broken racks. My family of 6 had to share 3 forks, 3 plates and i had to try and cook a meal with 1 pan. The noise level was out of control with children above me having a marching band parade at 12am. The complementary breakfast is not worth your time. You have to pay to park were you are staying and they will hold 2x the charge of your stay so watch your bank. 100% do not recommend, unless you're about the outside attraction and being close to the LAX airport.

Shabby place, poor condition. Allows people to smoke marijuana in the parking lot that was so pungent you could smell it all over the property. Staff was indifferent to any needs. They also placed a hold on my credit card for 3 times the amount of my room charge. That’s really excessive!

My wife and I stayed one night. It was very pleasant stay. We wished we had stayed longer. We stayed another Hyatt House before and are familiar with the hotel and the room. But this time we received a room/unit with 2 separate bedrooms. So, it was more than enough for us. 2 couples could have stayed comfortably. The next time when we are in the area, this is the hotel on the very top of my list to stay.

Good location and quiet. The rooms are large and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty. Good value for LAX area. There are plenty of options for food and workouts nearby. You are only a few miles from the beach. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Nice and quite

This is a great hotel located minutes from LAX and the beaches. We stayed here because we came for a game at Sofi Stadium. The stadium was a quick 15 minute Uber ride. The staff was great, they attended to all our needs with a smile. Check in and check out was very smooth. We loved the courtyard in the middle of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The airport is only ten minutes away. They have a lot of options for breakfast. We would definately stay again. 5 stars all around.
