This hotel has an excellent midtown location and very accommodating staff, but is let down by practical issues like step
Pros:

I enjoyed this hotel for its exceptional location and outstanding service. The staff is genuinely lovely and helpful. The housekeeping team does a fantastic job cleaning and was always ready to provide extra towels and pillows right away. The front desk was also very kind to grant me a complimentary late check-out. The best feature is the unbeatable location in midtown, just a 2 to 3 minute walk from Grand Central Station, putting all the major attractions and great restaurants within easy reach. The beds are very comfortable, offering excellent value for the area.

Cons:

Several practical issues made the stay less comfortable than expected. The reception is inconveniently located down a flight of stairs from the entrance, which is difficult with heavy luggage. There are no in-room coffee or tea facilities not even a kettle. The only option is a basic self-service station in the bar each morning, an offering so limited I ended up buying my own kettle.

Choose a different hotel. The people are wonderful, the hotel - should be updated and revised.
Pros:

Location. Location. Location. This hotel is all about location. And good service too.

Cons:

The rooms. I have booked a King Suite, got a terrible AC internal facing on floor 3.
Replaced to an even worse AC outlet inside bath(!) a disaster waiting to happen room on floor 5.
Then, a day after a small room on floor 16. No suite, and didn't get a refund of the difference, though asked for it and was told that would be refunded!
