The resort was more than we were expecting. Our stay was for three nights and we couldn't all for a better time. Food was great entertainment was phenomenal and the staff were professional and friendly. We are planning our next trip here with family. The best staycation we have had so far.

We spent 5 glorious days/nights at Shepard’s Beach Resort and had the time of our lives. We have traveled all over FL, and have found our favorite spot in Clearwater!
The hotel was spotless, nicely decorated and convenient to the Clearwater”strip.”
The staff was fabulous- most noteworthy was Erica at the reception area, Shari at the Tiki Bar and Kevin, the pool attendant. All 3 were phenomenal at their jobs and made us feel so welcome.
We met so many nice people who shared our thoughts about such a super resort!

My husband and I booked a trip to Shephard’s Beach Resort in Clearwater beach for our 31st anniversary and my 61st birthday. The resort is beautiful. The views are spectacular. The staff superb. From the time we checked in the girl at the front desk Anniyah was and continues to be amazing. She has an amazing personality and she is very kind. Taking her time to answer all of mine and my husband’s questions. Always has a smile and makes us feel very welcome. We love her!

I had a great all around experience! Great cocktails at the tiki bar an exceptional dining experience at the Cove. I’d highly recommend.

Wonderful place, clean, fun.

Stay away from this "So Called Resort"! Worst experience I have ever had a Hotel. Most un-professional, un-attentive Front Desk Staff I have ever encountered. Bait and Switch tactics at every turn. Plenty of other places nearby to choose from.

This resort is insanely beautiful! From the hospitality and decor at the front desk to the gigantic stage where you can music sound right from your balcony. Rooms are spacious and very clean. It was just my husband and I getting away from the crazy and the cold up north. We had a blast. Erica and Tiana at the front desk are amazing. Their expertise helped us to shop, dine and enjoy the local area without a fuss. Thank you so much, ladies!! People staying there were also super friendly. This is a great resort to party, dance and leave the kids with grandparents. Try the Miami V (frozen), my husband couldn't stop ordering those! 😆 You get those at Tiki Beach Bar. Cove Restaurant has fantastic food options. Love the elegant and chic look which matches the menu. Music is everywhere and all the best hits from the 90s, Y2K, and 2010. Definitely party town especially Fridays and Saturdays. OK, why the 4 out of 5, live music was great up until 10pm. The band after 10pm -2am was screechy. Sorry. The other reason, the last day of our stay, we had a cranky bartender. He kept passing by us by and I had already ordered drinks from him with an open tab. He seemed to be only was taking care of the people in the cabana. I had about 4 people wanting drinks to flow but nothing. Decided to move to the other bar to get drinks. It was a bummer because it ruined the vibe. Other than that, we will be back and telling friends of this little hidden gem!!

Greta front desk staff. Accommodating with great information about what was in the area. Love that is to close to good food, and race start. Having a beach and live music and good bar food just adds to the get away. As well as a heated pool and hot tub.

Rosemary was amazing, accommodating, sympathetic, and everything you hope for at a resort. I can’t thank her enough. She was empathetic to our needs and went above and beyond. Thank you!!

The entire experience here was amazing! from check in & check out with with the most amazing women at the front desk to the friendly staff, the cleanliness and amenities. It was so much fun! We went for a friends wedding and I can’t wait to go back in the future.

They double charged my card for our stay. They said they would take care of it but that it might take up to 5 days. Unfortunately that tied up my card for the rest of our vacation but we had other options. When the credit came through, they only credited half of the overcharge. After 4 or 5 phone calls without any of the callbacks that they said they would do, they told us to just dispute the charge with our credit card company which could take up to 90 days. The rooms were fine and the staff while we were there was nice. The elevators are scary and rough. The music is every bit as loud as people say but that’s what they’re known for. The beach is virtually non existent so if you’re looking for a beach vacation, this is not a good option. Probably a good place for spring break or a bachelor party but there are a lot better options for vacationers.

We stayed for 2 days during Thanksgiving week. It was such a great time. We have stayed at Shepard's in the past as a couple but never with our toddlers. The kids loved the pool and looking for shells along the beach. Toni at the front desk was wonderful! She even gave us a beach ball to take home as a memory! We will definitely be back in the future!

We were very pleasantly surprised with our first visit to Shephard's. 10 out of 10 on all fronts. We loved the beach, the staff, the entertainment area, the cleanliness, the pool, the drinks, and the room. Attention to detail was amazing. Very welcoming people on staff indoors and out. Even though it was freezing cold outside, we still had an amazing time on New Years Eve because of the staff members. Free champagne, great music and a lively atmosphere. We didn't even mind the loud club - from the 5th floor. Had a great time for 3 nights.

Our stay was really good. Hotel is awesome. They redid everything since last time I was here and it’s beautiful. The staff were great. Erica at the front desk is the best!!! She was really nice and put us in a good mood to start everything off. She’s a great face of the hotel!

Shepards has new ownership and management group. They no longer operate or treat their customers the way the former owners always have. They pushed the Lady out at the front desk who had been helping family's enjoy their vacations for years. The New Manager Mallory charged my room with 5 other employees threatening to evict me because I tried communicating concerns with her staff. She does not care that I have parkinsons and that my 10 yr old son had a issue with her 21 yr old employees. She said they were in the right. Most adults managing a hospitality facility would always remove the disrespectful teenager that is working. Rather than evict a 10yr old kid.

Tommy at Shepard's is the single best bartender ever. Bloody Marys were amazing. Treated us well and went the extra mile telling us about the new years event and things to do around.

Shepards is great for couples or family getaway. We come here 3-4 times per year and the stash points are another bonus. Bands daily. Pool, hot tub and ocean in walking distance from the room.
