For what I paid per night for two rooms it could have been better!

The cleanliness off the outside could have been better there were dead birds by the front door, the lobby area needed more attention to it.

Fine for the most part
Pros:

Location was great and the check in staff was very nice despite having a massive line wrapped around the lobby and only two people working.

Cons:

The night we came was for a Kendrick Lamar concert and there were only two staff members for a huge influx of people. It truly just felt like poor scheduling. The staff was extremely quick & courteous and did their very best but shouldn’t have been put in that situation. It’s also very confusing that the facility is no longer holiday inn but says
holiday inn all over it and on maps. The vending area was very scarce with no gluten free options and all of the drink machines were empty.

Pros:

The lobby was nicely put together

Cons:

The hotel was in bad shape in a bad part of town. There was no parking, the air conditioning in our room never went below 75. It was a miserable stay and there was a lot of loudness throughout the night.

When we came to check in we were told there were no rooms ready yet, we had to wait an additional 45 minutes after waiting in line for 45 minutes. They were very polite about the situation and got it handled.

It was actually a Holiday Inn. Did NOT have a room when we arrived. We checked in after midnight and waited in line for an hour. Complete chaos! No explanation whatsoever about not being able to check in earlier. We had a confirmed reservation. Staff was pleasant. An investigation into this hotel should follow.
