Inexperienced staff making the stay cumbersome

Overall room and the location was fine but the staff was rude and inexperienced.

Cons:

Staff was rude and inexperienced. Even after the whole room rent was pre-paid with booking.com, radisson hotel charged us every night. When I asked them, staff at the front desk said we don’t know anything. I tried to explain them 3 days straight that every night I see charges on my card whereas I have pre-paid everything, they didn’t do anything. Last day while I was checking out, one of the lady at front desk realized what’s happening and helped. She was herself shocked that how no one else was able to correct the issue for last 3 days. Not happy with their service at all. Being Radisson and such staff, I was shocked.

Decent hotel, but it needs improvement.
Pros:

The location was good and exactly what we were looking for. It was walking distance from the convention center. It was literally on the backside of the building. The rates were the best I had found. The parking was free. The customer service was lacking but decent.

Cons:

The parking was a little confusing because of the construction nearby and because it was on the street instead of a specific lot. Our room was directly facing the pool, so we didn't feel like we could even open the curtains. The tub had cracks or chips out of it around the drain, and the sink wasn't set very well in the counter. The room never cooled down below 75. They offered to try putting a fan in the room, which we agreed to but never saw, and it didn't help if they did it while we were gone to the convention. The staff didn't even mention moving us to another room until we checked out. We weren't in the room except to sleep, so we made it work. I expected them to at least check on the situation at least once while we were there, but they didn't. There was no ice machine on our floor, despite signs saying that there was. For the size hotel it is, all three elevatora are very slow. There were no instructions for the tv or its remote, just a list of channels. Overall, they need to do more work in this hotel to get it up to par with the name Radisson. I was expecting much more than what they did as far as hospitality and being proactive. I would not recommend staying here until they make more improvements.

It was a place to lay our heads down, but I’d prob go elsewhere in future.

Check in staff was a tad rude/loud, and I felt like I was a burden for her. The tv didn’t have sound and we couldn’t get the sound to work .

Switched rooms 3x. 1st room dirty abd shower didn’t work 2nd room tv didn’t work door wouldn’t shut stale smell. 3 room was fine.


Leak in the lobby. Very sketchy hotel in a great location. If they fixed it up it’d be beautiful

Location close to the convention center

Cons:

Dirty, shower difficult to work, broken fixtures, no housekeeping even with request, dirty room at time of check in, could not get fresh towels/linen in FOUR days, garbage piled up, charged more than what was quoted on booking.com, breakfast was NOT included

Cons:

Breakfast was the worst. Literally had to spit it out. Room was poor, hours to get clean bedding. Staff were severely understaffed. On each heading, they were below or well below a 2 star hotel.

Breakfast bar frequently out of items. Some carpeted common areas looked like they hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner in weeks. Several guests complaining about air conditioner not working. No housekeeping unless we specifically asked for it.

Pros:

The pool area was nice.

Cons:

The employees were extremely rude. I had the Do Not Disturb sign on my door the service lady opened my door without knocking when she realized that I was in my room, she did not close the door back, but left it open, the door to my room was stuck. I had to open it with force. The paint in the tub was chipped. I had to lay a towel in the tub. In order to stand in it to take a shower, it's just a horrible place.
