Not happy
Pros:

Location, in principle the room, fact that they have several English language channels

Cons:

When the first evening we came back from an excursion around 8, the tv did not work, nor did the wifi, nor did the water pressure. A couple of calls to the reception at 20 and 20:20 (during which we were told someone would show up within minutes) came and went, and I finally went down to the reception at 20:30 and 20:50. Where at 20:30 is was told by one of the receptionists that they knew about the tv problem but that the wifi should work. Stupid answer.
When at 20:50 I went back I went to guy who checked us in and was helpful and knowledgeable. He explained that all problems were connected and that the city had turned off power because of massive construction works around the hotel and that the hotel's backup systems was struggling. Apparently the same happened the night before.

Someone eventually showed up around 21:30 and fixed the tv problem but the wifi lack of connectivity persisted ... and was taken care of only the next day. As was the low-water pressure issue.

Things happen, sure, but when you pay 200 Euro a night for a room I had hoped for better and more competent service. Not happy.

Great stay and service except breakfast staff bias against Americans.

Wonderful and fun theme!

Cons:

The service at breakfast was rude, especially as American visitors. We were quickly eating before heading downstairs to catch a train, so we had our luggage with us. It was fine that we couldn’t bring our bags unto the eating area. But the woman was short and did not offer a location to put them until after telling us we couldn’t take our bags in 3 times.
Then, when we were putting our bags in the designated area (that future guests also put their bags) we saw and heard a man come out from the kitchen doors and and say “dumb Americans”. Which was utterly rude and unacceptable. Why were we categorized as “dumb” because we didn’t already know their protocols or luggage area?!?
No one else in our travels to Spain, Italy, or France was so rude to us.

Rooms are not Soundproof. Can hear noise clearly when people talk or move from corridor or from top floors
Pros:

I Do not recommend this hotel. It’s very bad built and did not have good experience. The only good thing was a bar except not ideal. Do not stay if u plan to relax at night- as you can’t sleep in noise

Amazing stay
Pros:

Central location, staff amazing and helpful, rooms clean and spacious

Cons:

There was no food being served in the evening in the restaurant. You could order from the bar though. This is a minor grumble

AVOID no proper 4* hotel super noisy & bad plumbing
Pros:

Check in took 20 mn ; WATER SHUT DOWN while I was under the shower, with no warning and no follow up from the staff at all after I called reception ; super noisy room (close to elevator with no insulation to the corridor + super loud sound with AC motors on top floor, the walls tremble every hour). The rooms look nice but it's not proper for a 4* hotel and you should remplace the hotel's manager.
