Breakfast selection was broad.
Hot water was temperamental. You had to run the sink tap for ages to get hot water in the shower.
Not enough healthy options at breakfast.
The room did not heat up quickly. The water in the sink never got warm. The shower water took 25 minutes to heat up. Black mold in the tile of the bathtub/shower. It was disgusting!
The room was updated, in good condition and looked like the photos in websites. Bathroom as well. Breakfast was adequate and served until 10:00am The coffee at all hours in the lobby was a nice addition. We liked having a small fridge and microwave in our room. The location was great. We could easily walk to downtown and many restaurants. The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. I requested a quiet room as I am not a good sleeper. We were given a perfect room away from Washinton and it was quiet all night. The bed was comfortable and the black out curtains effective. We chose this hotel as it was attatched to the Eccles Conference center where the event we were going to was being held. It was very convenient to walk down the hall to arrive at the event.
At times in the morning and at night, it really did take 15 minutes for hot water to reach our room. I had read about this issue in reviews before our stay so I alloted extra time to get showered and ready.

Location is fabulous; central and within walking distance to all that the downtown has to offer, with many shops and great restaurants.
VERY noisy on a busy thoroughfare. Room was nice and equipped with a mini fridge and microwave, coffee pot, etc., but there were only one hand towel and two bath towels stocked in the room--if I were staying for more than one night, and if anyone had joined me, the lack of hand towels would have been frustrating.
Miles off the freeway Parking is far from hotel and cost $10 a night. Huge window in bathroom with a shade that was stuck open (luckily on eighth floor). Fire alarm went off after midnight for no reason.
Breakfast was great.
Our chair in our room was broken and not sure how that was overlooked.
