Excellent hotel, friendly staff, large spacious rooms, good facilities, fantastic location.
Pros:

Spacious 1 bedroom apartment, fully fitted out kitchen. Pool was great. Beautiful building.

Cons:

The bed was ok, but like a lot of hotels, it's 2 beds pushed together so you have to deal with the lump in the middle.

Great location, lovely old building that has been renovated well.
Pros:

Great central location. The room was narrow but comfortable and had a kitchenette and laundry facilities. Staff very friendly and the restaurant and bar were in a lovely courtyrad.

Cons:

Larger bin in the bathroom. As is the case with most hotels, the bathroom bin is tiny and tips over when you open it. Sauna needs to be a lot hotter.

Worked out well in the end
Pros:

Nice self contained room, and location within the complex

Cons:

First night room, lift didn’t go all the way to room level & had to go up 2 flights of stairs- would have been nice to know that at time of booking, particularly for mobility concerns. However staff were very helpful in finding a more suitable room

DON'T BOOK HERE - THERE ARE BETTER PLACES IN ADELAIDE CBD
Pros:

Location only!

Cons:

Where to start? First of all, they advertise, with pictures their rooms, then give you something else. When I raised this, they moved me to the room I actually booked, and then behaved like they were doing me a favour. Overpriced and dirty! My room was not cleaned properly, every single day. I had to ask for it to be cleaned, multiple times. Again, staff baffled as to why I would ask for the floor to be hoovered, etc. The pool is disgusting, with dirty tiles above the water line that have never been cleaned, as a build up of human body grease. This is a serious health hazard. The gym had overflowing bins that were only emptied weekly. I had to ask for my bed sheets to be replaced as they weren't done after 6 nights. They advertise doing this every 3 nights. This is a breach and health & safety issue. The 'kitchenette' is a tiny sink, fridge and microwave. It is not a kitchen that is equipped with much at all. This is a listed building that is not looked after at all. The city health department need to shut it down. Overall, extremely disgusted by the lack of cleanliness, the false advertising, the lying, the bad treatment, the bad attitude of superviors/managers, disgusting treatment towards a guest (when a guest shouldn't have to raise one single thing like this in the first place), badly run, overpriced, liars. A disgrace to Adelaide, you should be ashamed of yourselves. They tried to offer me a bottle of wine, when you should not be charging people for this disgusting example of very bad hospitality in the first place. This has also been reported to the local authorities to handle, because, yes, it was that bad.
