A bad decision booking this hotel for the night. Only needed a hotel room for an overnight stay. Probably stayed no more than 12-14 hours. Our hotel room was incredibly filthy, covered with numerous stains from previous guests. Black mold was found in the bathroom, as well as, near the air conditioner unit/window. Dirty carpet including dirty bathroom floors is a concern. Long dark hair found on the mattress sheet and pillow cases. Unruly drunk guests (random wedding party) were fighting/yelling for hours on-end. Constant slamming of doors and running down the halls from midnight until 3:00 a.m. prevented us from getting much needed rest. Hotel staff did not do much to control the situation. I would not recommend. Stay at the Holiday Inn next door…

Pros:

Bed was comfortable. Towels were fluffy.

Cons:

1st room smelled of smoke and chemicals. One Q bed looked like it had been laid on. Phone was sticky, used to call desk that room was unacceptable. Had to wash my hands. Front desk moved us. She took us to another room, 1st
Floor. It was OK. Paint in bathroom peeling.

Overall, the hotel fit our needs at a very affordable price!
Pros:

The room was comfortable and mostly clean when we arrived. The staff was very prompt in making the beds and giving us fresh towels.

Cons:

The bathroom was small and the floor was a little dirty, but nothing to crazy.

I will never stay at this hotel again--which is a shame because I visit Howell often.
Cons:

The rooms were not clean--stuff on the floor, smears on the sink and in the tub.
The breakfast was extremely limited--I had to ask for hot water to cook a package of oatmeal--and that was the only thing I found to eat--food quality poor as well. There was construction debris around the elevator--at least I hope it was construction debris and not the ceiling falling in.

It was without a doubt one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had while travelling with my children.
Pros:

The breakfast was very minimal and we chose to go out to eat. There were very few options to choose from.

Cons:

We did not feel safe. People fighting in the hallways and outside the hotel. Another person was rolling around on the floor just past the lobby screaming in pain while your staff stood there. There were blood stains on the bedding that was just disgusting. I am handicapped and your staff didn’t even open the front door to assist us when we were checking in. Nobody was there when we checked out.

Pros:

Staff is great - caring, helpful, attentive to our needs. Pool is comfortable, breakfast is just what we need.

Cons:

Charged my card instead of letting me pay cash, needs some upgrading in rooms, fridge had mold and needed defrosting. Not as clean as expected. Would not recommend. Sorry
