Beautiful hotel in beautiful city
Great location
Very quiet
Lovely wine bar
We had amazing time. Everyone friendly and accommodating! Upgraded our room for free
I must commend Yitzchak, the manager of the hotel for his kindness towards us !
Overall was beautiful
Very dishonest anything they promised they lied about… very upsetting would not reccomend
This is an older property with different levels and lots of stairs to negotiate with luggage. It took some effort to get everyone and our luggage from the car park to the room (hauling bags ups numerous flights of stairs).
The only issue is the lack of flexibility of the hotel staff. I booked 2 rooms for me and for my elder parents who need some time to move and organize themselves. I asked for any option for a later departure on the last day. Not only it was declined but also the hotel staff came and knocked to my parents’ room one hour before the regular time, asking them to leave (earlier though). This is very inappropriate for that type of hotel and toward that kind of slow motions old people, particularly because our rooms were not ready until 45 minutes past the checking time.
Maybe the hotel should indicate in the description that flexibility and velocity is expected from customers there and not from the hotel staff.
every thingwas good, from food to sleep
Loud yelling noises every weekend night until 2-3am.
Upon arrival, my wife and I entered our room to find that it was not cleaned, the bed was not made, and the bathroom was disgusting. We were moved to another room which did not meet the specifications of my original reservation and the hotel did not provide a discount/refund for the situation. The only thing they did give us was two free glasses of the cheapest bottle of wine at the bar. This was a horrible experience and the staff was rude and obnoxious. We will never stay here again and do not recommend this hotel.
It was clean, beautiful & we loved the location. The views are amazing & the air was fresh & clean. We loved the art galleries & the food was great. It’s a true unexpected gem & we would love to return.
Excellent facilities for visiting the wondrous city of Zfat/Safed.
They charged extra for an additional person, even though there was no indication of this when I made the Expedia reservation. In addition, I reserved a room with one or two beds with a pullout sofa, and received a room with one bed. So I felt upset about this.
We were extremely pleased with our two night stay at Ruth Zefat by Dan. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful
Wanted to treat my wife to an expensive trip in beautiful Zafed and ended up being highly disappointed by this hotel.
For starters we had been dreaming of swimming in the pool and when we got here we were rudely notified that the pool is closed half of the year (wasn’t mentioned anywhere)
To make matters worse, the front desk lady was very unwelcoming and nasty. The breakfast buffet was subpar and not something I would expect from a Dan hotel. Overall I feel like I was robbed of my money
This hotel was absolutely gorgeous! It had beautiful history in the walls. I loved walking about the property and reading about the history. It was clean. My daughter loved the lemonade they had out when guests arrive or just in the lobby. She said it was her favorite drink ever and was sad the next day when it was orange juice she wanted to buy it in the cafe but they didn’t sell it.
Excellent stay
Beautiful hotel
Great location, free parking, great breakfast, convenient location, can walk to artists' colony, old quarter, ...
The Staff are mean and incompetent. They charged me twice and then realized that I'd prepaid. Then they only refunded part of my payment claiming they had to keep a VAT when I am a foreigner and should pay no VAT. They tried to make ridiculous excuses. Then I spent hours on the phone trying to give them my email address so they could send me my bill and the ignorant and jerky guy on the other end still has not typed in the correct email address. Go at your own risk.
Great hotel! The water in the pool are very cold they have to worm it.
