I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.
Pros:

When I arrived the desk clerk took nearly a half an hour to check me in (No Exaggeration). I stood at the desk for maybe 5 minutes and eventually sat down. As the next patrons entered the establishment which was possibly 20 to 25 minutes later he came out to check them in. He was very courteous and professional with the two ladies. Keep in mind I’m standing directly behind them, but his demeanor changed immediately. He asked if he could photocopy my license, and I immediately said absolutely, but the question was asked as if that’s not the normal procedure but I still agreed. My stay was prepaid via Booking.com, but it was still odd. His customer service was HORRIBLE. I’ve stayed at Crowne Plaza Hotels in 3 different states, Massachusetts, Missouri and Oregon and the service at those locations was IMPECCABLE. The professionalism and warm chocolate chip cookies sold me on The Crowne Plaza, but the Burr Ridge location really isn’t The Crowne Plaza. The young lady who checked out on 10/25 was really warm, and professional with a smile at 6:30 am

Cons:

Due to the price and limited items (especially coffee) we did not eat at the hotel and could only get one cup of coffee by 10:00 am. Everything was gone after 10:30 am.

The breakfast was good with lots of options and fresh fruit.

Cons:

They did not have my reservation in their system, so I had to pay the full price. I'm not unhappy with them but with Booking.com. Apparently there was a confirmation code sent, which I didn't know, but I could not access my email while on the road and your system would not let me talk to a human being to explain the situation. It would not put me through unless I had the confirmation code, even though I explained that I could not access it, and even though I could have given my name and the number of the credit card under which I had made the reservation. We were very tired and just took the room anyway and paid the full price. It was a very frustrating experience, and I don't think I would use this "service" again.
