The location is definitely fantastic. It's only about a 15-minute walk and a 5-minute away from the small town of micanopy
We didn't have any hot water for a while but honestly it was because the pipes froze over it was winter time but the staff fix it right away
Close to town of Micanopy and ok for UF. Only place affordable family weekend.
It’s so dilapidated - poor owner needs to take a loan and fix it up or lose it.
Deben ser mas responsables y responder .
Aun sigo esperando que me reembolsen mi dinero, me desalojaron 5 días de vencerse .i estadio porque el hotel presento problema con el agua. No me han devuelto el dinero ni me responden los mensajes que dejo.
This is BY FAR the worst dump I’ve ever encountered. Tattered drapes, holes in the towels, furniture stacked on furniture, loose wall outlets, A/C unit separating from the wall, no internet, rusting and cracked “vanity”, flaking and peeling coating in the bathtub, no hot water, no trash can, not even a plastic drinking cup in the room. As I was leaving, I glanced at the “pool”, which is so dark green that it could not possibly have been in service for years.
Motel in terrible condition. Room smelled bad. Office smelled like cigars and cat urine. Questionable clientele in some of the other rooms. I can say that the office staff was very nice, the sheets were clean and I didn’t see any bugs.. However, everything about the place was falling apart. This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed.
Good for the price
The property represented in these photos are a scam. The room was filthy the ceiling tiles were falling down. The bed was dirty the towels were dirty. I want a full refund from booking because of false advertising. I have photos to prove this. The room was so bad I had to find another hotel.
I liked nothing about this property
Not much
The bottom edge of the bed was bare metal ( see photos ) sharp and cut my daughters feet. It looked rusted too,
This place is best combination price/qualty.
Price was lowest price around.
Conveniently located just of I-75.
Internet is almost non existent, but room has fridge and microwave.
I didn’t have any trouble with safety.
No breakfast, just coffee.
May be recommended for travelers on budget.
Rented a room just for a bride to get ready in. Was a decent room for a couple hours of use.
Outdated. Unkept. Not very clean. Water was brown from rusty pipes.
A bit dirty. Old facilities
I was staying here while i visited a relative on my way to a conference. This was most definitely a you get what you pay for situation. No one is going into your room while you are away. But it is the winter circut for both HITS and WEC, so "better" hotels were out of my price range. Its not the cleanest or most modern, but it was a bed to lay my head, a warm room on some very cold nights, a hot shower, and i was safe, so not too much to complain about.
Location to Interstate
Arrived in parking lot at check in time. Noticed ONE car only with broken window and possibly not running? Only other vehicles were construction types. Went to office and there was a NO VACANCY sign and a note on door stating 'will be back at 4', an hour after our check in time. Looked through window and saw a filthy "lobby" and holes in walls. We assumed there were construction workers at work and maybe people staying there that do not have cars, the reason for no vacancy. We found another place to stay, lost our payment, and had to pay for a different accomodation.
Picked this place cause it wasn’t the worst rated and not perfect. Still had 5 hours left with my drive so I got a room. What a mistake. Slept with my clothes on. Didn’t want to take a shower there. Didn’t even want to pull the bedspread a k. I had a blanket and pillow in the car. Lucky I did. Place should be torn down or throw 5-10 million to maintain it. Pictures didn’t match the room at all. Maybe 25 years ago.
Worse hotel
Good parking
At 8pm the reception was closed, the water in both tap and shower was at most a dribble, rust all over the metal railings on the shower, paint peeling, stray cats everywhere, one of the lamps did not have a bulb in it, bed was lumpy, reception was not open at 9.30am.
The hotel is very safe. I was a woman traveling alone and I always felt safe and comfortable. Everything worked in the room. I didn’t have an issue with the bed or using anything. The fridge and microwave were great. There was hot water. I forgot to mention the issue with the bathroom before I left. There is a small hole in the ceiling above the shower. When the person in the room above showers, the water comes out of the hole. If someone smokes in the room above then the hotel room bathroom smells like cigarette smoke. I had a non smoking room. The staff were all ready nice. I was able to get around without a problem. It was in walking distance of a convenience store. 10 minutes from Gainsville. 20 minutes from Ocala.
It was clean and convenient.
The water was turned off in the night until about 7am so we couldn’t flush or shower before going to our family’s for Thanksgiving breakfast
