Great weekend
Pros:

We just pulled up in our car to the car park and crossed the road, checked in with friendly staff, and enjoyed all Kilkenny has to offer from a great central location. We always have a great time here and will be back soon.

Business Trip
Pros:

I stayed at the Ormond Hotel last week for a work trip. Room was lovely and clean, bathroom a little dated, staff were very friendly and the food in the bar was very good. Overall a very positive experience.

Lovely central hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff, central to Kilkenny.
The reception staff were so lovely and helpful.
The room was extremely spacious and clean. There was some small wear and tear in the room/ bathroom but it was nothing major and didn’t affect our stay at all.
The mattress was quite firm but comfortable.
The swimming pool was great.
Everything was in walking distance! (Eg. Kilkenny castle, Smithwick’s brewery, local pubs & restaurants). Once we parked the car up we didn’t need it until we left the following day.
It was €8 to park the car across the road for our one night stay and we were able to leave the car there as long as we wanted on the second day before we left.
We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food but I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Nice weekend stay 1 night with family staff good and friendly and as we stayed with kids they loved the pool and they had areas to play while we relaxed
