I had to get another room unable to check in because the office was locked and no one would answer the door or phone after one hour l gave up and got a room at motel 6.
I was asked for a CASH deposit, even though I had my Expedia receipt. I did not have cash with me. I did not want to use the Knights Inn ATM. I DID NOT STAY. Given the condition of the lobby, I would not have stayed even without the deposit. I did not see the room. I slept in my car at a rest stop rather than stay there.
Only stayed here one night, pretty weird ghetto area mixed with weird inbred farm people. The room I was in had trash in it, dusty in general, some lights needed replaced, fire alarm’s batteries were taken out and dead battery was on bed, toilet had a broken toilet flusher and had to wait an hour for maintenance to come and fix it. Price for one night was $67.50 after having to get cash out of an atm that charged an extra $2.50. This was $70 for a one night stay in the cheapest room available, worth it? No, sleeping in your car is a better option. After reporting this to front office about 30 minutes after I checked in I didn’t get a discount or any reduce price on the one night stay…
This place is the dumbness you could never stay at. They have people that PLAY LOUD MUSIC and smoke POT that you can smell thru your AC and they don't even do anything about it. They just let trashy people live her and smoke pot and let them just do whatever they want. The manager does not do anything about when you tell them they just don't care they don't give a crap.
This place has to be avoided, unless you want the receptionist to call the police, because of trying to check in late at night! We booked over Agoda.com and we were kicked out, after the hotel told us, that they don’t work with online booking companies. We were totally confused and told the receptionist, that we call Agoda to solve the misunderstanding, but instead the receptionist got angry and called the police. After we left the reception, he locked the door and placed a “sold out” sign in front of the door. Do yourself a favor and pay 10 bucks more, but at least you won’t get treated like a criminal.
I seen several bed bugs roach's and dealers dealing there products women and drugs.
stay away go across the street to motel 6 it is a lot better. with tax they want over 60.00..
The people at the desk has very bad attitudes,
Firstly they Refused my paid booking through Hotels.com. Had to rebook with them at 20% more, said new management, could not get $$$ from the portal on line. Asked for Non smoking room, was a smoking room with cigarette burns all over, bed and sheets too. Tv broken, No internet, Door would not lock properly, jammed it shut it with a chair. Next morning and different shift of staff, was told was Hotels.com fault, we called them on no reservations this week. I am sure a third excuse would come the next day too! I do stay in budget motels all the time, but this is the worst in 25 years I have seen! I will say the Denny's next door is great for a meal, just not the Knights Inn!
I had this fully paid and reserved by Hotels.com. Upon my arrival refused my reservation, said new owner and could not get into "portal" online to get paid! (First Excuse) So I had to cancel reservation and book with them there, and at 20% MORE PRICE! Room was to be non smoking, WAS NOT, Cigarette burns on the bed, sheets and carpets. Extremely Dirty and smokey smell, NO wifi, No working Tv, Wakeup call did not work, door lock not working, used the chair to bar it. Upon Checkout was told "its Hotels.com" Fault, we called them and said NO Reservations for that week... Yup SECOND Excuse! I am sure the next day would be another! I travel and use Budget rooms, but this was the worst I have ever seen... stay away! Now the Denny's Restaurant next door is great.
It’s a good cheap clean decent room to stay if your tired, drinking or need some rest. Wouldn’t choose the place for a vacation unless I was tight on money
I am tolerant of "rough edges" and not quick to judge harshly, but Knights Inn in Rossford merits a grim review. Is it inexpensive? Sure. Is it conveniently located near the interstate? Yes. But there the benefits of this singularly foul place end. The air conditioner was necessary, as the room quickly became unbearably hot and stuff without it. When on, though, it roared and clattered like a rattling locomotive. I slept (very briefly and poorly, due to the extremely loud AC) in my clothes on top of the sheets, so concerned was I about the obvious lack of cleanliness and the possibility of insect bite. The badly worn carpet, although not clearly visible in the dim light, was spotted with many burn marks. The bathroom reminded me of bathrooms that I had seen in slum tenements in New York City: old, shoddy, stained and moldy. The entire milieu would fit well in a David Lynch film.
I am an experienced world traveller and am forgiving of uncomfortable, somewhat "off" lodges. Yet even the harshest place I had ever stayed in – in Debark, Ethiopia – was better than this disturbing little place in Rossford. Needless to say, I not only do not recommend it, but also strongly advise any and all prospective guests to stay far away from Knights Inn of Rossford.
This was the worst hotel ever. Smelled like cigarets and urin. The first room the heater didn’t work and the tv was not connected to the wall outlets, there was a cat litter box outside the room filled with litter, poop and water. Discusting. I asked for a second room and wasn’t much better. The beds had used sheets complete with sand. We managed to have a shower and get the heck out of there. I think I have crabs!...
Last time I said probably - then I stayed again. My room was a mess, the grounds continue to decline, and the staff act like landlords in a flea bag flop house in an old movie. And now they charge more. I found another hotel for a few bucks more that is much better when I visit Toledo. Good night sweet knight. Our fairy tale has ended unhappily ever after.
full of drug and pimps will never stay again room dirty paper plates and dirty crude in bathroom
a hotel in need of renovation. cigarette burns on floor and blankets in non smoking room.
The hotel was actually cheaper then it was on the website which was good but after we got there we saw why. The room was disgusting, the carpet was sticky and our white socks turned black, there was no coffee and when we got some my boyfriend went to plug the coffee pot in and found someone’s underwear behind the entertainment center which shows that the rooms aren’t cleaned, and there were knats and termites, I will never stay there again. I’ll pay the extra for a better hotel.
Water stained ceiling made room look dirty and run down
Just looking for a place along the route to crash for the evening. Price was in range and never stayed at a Knights Inn prior so gave it a shot. Check in was quick. Staff was friendly, and the hotel is convenient to Interstate. Relatively quiet except for occasional interstate noise or trucks pulling in and out, just okay. Room was a little shabby but okay for sleep.
Diane at front desk was wonderful, otherwise this is an old, run down, no internet nasty property!
Horrible stay. Drugs dealing every night, bed was horrible..... Housekeeping non existent. Never again!
This place is horriable the manager is rude and a liar. His own staff don't even like him. Even though it says it's pet friendly it is not they made me get rid of. My cat and still wanted to charge me extra for it and didn't want to believe that the cat was gone. Even went as far as to threaten to throw me and my young son out on too the streets. The housekeepers are OK and friendly enough. The wifi dose not work in the back building. The room was nasty the blankets had rips and burn holes in the the sheets we're stained with who knows what and I didn't feel very safe there.never again will I stay here.
