Space to Spare
Pros:

We booked an accessible room and it was more than suitable for our needs.
There was a comfortable bed with plenty of storage space, a well equipped laundry, spacious bathroom and roomy open area comprising of the kitchen (with everything you would need including a full sized refrigerator and a dishwasher, also, in this instance, a jug which you don’t need to lift from its base to use) and a lounge area and even a desk!
We were impressed with the “Welcome Pack” and also with the variety of teas/hot chocolate to enjoy, not just tea and coffee.
Two televisions - one in the bedroom and the other in the lounge.
The modern lamps feature a charging point for mobile phones which is very handy too.
Our room backed onto the lawn area next to the lake and close to the solar heated pool and spa area. Was great to relax after a busy day.
Overall, an extremely well presented property, a place to relax and enjoy.
It is situated in a relatively quiet area but still only a short drive to shopping areas and other services as well as a large variety of eateries.
Thoroughly recommend for all types of travellers but particularly families who often need a little more room.

Cons:

Unfortunately on a humid night the air conditioner in the lounge area did not flow through to the bedroom and it was a little uncomfortable for sleeping (I imagine this would happen on hot days too) so a separate air conditioner is definitely needed for the bedroom.
The bathroom floor is tiled and, especially in an accessible room, at least provide a bathmat or a shower stool for safety of guests with mobility issues as it is extremely slippery when wet.
Although we booked for three people, only two towels were provided; not a big deal for us as there was a washing machine and dryer available, just a little inconvenient.
The website said there was a DVD player available in the room - there wasn’t - and it also stated breakfast was available if ordered by 8PM - also wrong - as apparently the catering firm does not work on weekends; these “problems” could be easily alleviated by updating the website as it could cause issues for some guests travelling at hours not conducive to outside traders.
A grab rail would also be helpful next to the front door to hold on to whilst going up the little ramp.

Pros:

The locale of the apartment was most important to me as I was visiting family in Altona North. The view from the top room was great the cleanliness was great just hadn't quite reached some cobwebs in the top corners and on the skirting boards.

A bit run down but peaceful.
Pros:

Self catering apartment enabled relaxed meals without having to dine out. Woolies Metro just down the road. The view over the water was nice and the surrounds peaceful.

Cons:

The wifi didn't work, then on restart was not secured, so chose not to use it. The TV took some fiddling to get going. The cleaning wasn't very thorough, eg. mould in shower, talcum powder on bathroom floor and door, plus blood on toilet seat, from previous guest.
