We vwey much enjoyed our short stay. The Hotel was clean, service was very friendly, dinner and breakfast was excellent. The room we had was comfortable with sufficient space.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked this trip with my partner, as some remote hotels can be a hit or a miss — but this one was amazing!
We were able to check in early as our room was ready. The room itself was lovely and looked freshly decorated, with a super-comfy bed and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was modern and spotless.
The dinner menu was limited (four starters and four mains), but the food was great value and delicious. I’d much rather have a small choice of quality dishes than a long list of mediocre ones!
Breakfast was included in the price, and the full Scottish breakfast was fab too.
stayed here many times. it now has new owners and management ,and has improved for it. rooms good as ever, food greatly improved at both breakfast and dinner, management team are friendly and attentive. highly recommend. we will be back.
The manageress was so rude and ignorant towards us. Then we were underwhelmed by the tired state of the decor in the room. The breakfast was supposed to be included but we were made to pay. The best part was leaving to go visit the Enchanted Forest in Pitlochry. The roads getting there are awful too. Definitely never coming back to relive that horrible experience.
Great location in cute little village
Beautiful hotel in tranquil and peaceful location. Staff all very welcoming and accommodating. Last minute trip away and stay in lovely deluxe suite. Dinner in the hotel was amazing, very reasonably priced. Comfortable sleep followed by a full Scottish breakfast. Manager checked us out and was very friendly and hospitable and would definitely stay again.

We loved staying at this hotel! It was so inviting, tastefully decorated, and helpful staff. We especially enjoyed the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Our waiter was exceptional as was the food! The young lady at the front desk helped us with tips for sights around the village! We would stay here again without hesitation.
Just checked out of the Dunalastair Suite, and I can't help but feel a wave of emotion wash over me at the thought of leaving this enchanting haven. This gem nestled in the majestic mountains of Loch Lomond is nothing short of a paradise, and I truly hope to return someday never say never, right?
Eugene, Shannon, and Habanni were simply phenomenal, makingus feel like VIPs
The hotel itself is a masterpiece, surrounded by the soothing embrace of the river and breathtaking scenery that captivates the soul. Every corner of this place is immaculate, reflecting the care and attention to detail that the staff pours into their work. Speaking of the staff, they treated us like royalty! The owner, Surya, went above and beyond by taking time out of his busy schedule to personally brew and serve us some of the best coffee I've ever tasted.

Eugene, Shannon, and Habanni were simply phenomenal, making us feel like VIPs throughout our visit. Our suite was a sanctuary spacious, well-stocked, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need: water, coffee, snacks, plush robes, and so much more.
If you’re a nature lover seeking daily adventures, this is the ultimate destination. The tranquility and beauty of Loch Ronnach will leave you spellbound. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!
Nice hotel clearly a 5 star a some point. The staff was great but the hotel really under staffed. The hotel was clean but the carpets were not. The staff told us the hotel was sold the day we arrived.
The Dunalastair Suites Hotel is a rare find in Scotland: it tips its hat to tradition (you’ll spot Rob Roy costumes on display) without falling into the usual tassels lamp, floral wallpaper -and-taxidermy trap.
The rooms are modern, elegant, and blissfully free of chintz — and best of all, there are no long-dead earls watching you sleep from oil paintings above the headboard.
We arrived just after the restaurant closed, but the chef still went out of his way to make us a late-night burger — a small act that summed up the warmth and thoughtfulness of the place.
If you want Highland atmosphere without feeling like you’re sleeping in a museum, this is it.
Underwhelmed, not as good as it used to be.
Exceeded our expectations. Fabulous accommodation very friendly staff …. Nothing was too much trouble .. beautiful part of Scotland with so many activities. Our evening meal was delicious with really fresh ingredients…. A great choice of continental breakfast, yogurt, fruits cereals etc with a choice of vegetarian or usual full scottish breakfast . We were travelling in our electric car and had a choice of the hotel chargers or a public faster charger right outside the hotel in the village square
The Schiehallion suite that we occupied for a week was comfortable, clean ,quiet and very beautiful decorated.
Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from.
The staff was polite, extremely professional and very friendly and funny with a great sense of humour. They all had gone the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and special.
We would like to mention Shannon and Aftab at reception/bar.Thomas,Gordon ,Eugene and Richard from the bar/breakfast/restaurant and Rahul (housekeeping).
Also the chef Parvin is exceptionally good making our dinning experience truly enjoyable.
Last but not least we would like to mention the manager very considerate, making sure all the guests are well and happy.

Just stayed one night dinner BnB in deluxe room. Hotel and rooms as lovely as first time we stayed there a few years ago although courtyard needs bit of TLC.. Excellent service from Aftab ( think right spelling) at reception. Dinner good although limited menu. Breakfast was fantastic and enjoyed great Scottish breakfast plus continental choice. Bed super comfy. Will stay again - especially as they have a couple of dog friendly rooms now.
Great stay, rooms were very spacious.
Staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was continental and full english, food was lovely, we had tea one evening in the restaurant and the food was very tasty.
Lovely stay, restaurant was open, food was lovely. Staff were very friendly & helpful.
Bed was very comfortable, rooms had everything we needed.
Beautiful hotel in a very picturesque area. Breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful. No restaurant for an evening meal as they're under new management and are awaiting the chef starting. Ate in a nearby hotel..
Lovely place. Very comfortable bed. Quiet area. Option for a vegan breakfast.
