Good location, good room, good value. More friendly staff would have helped.
Pros:

Location was excellent with a view to the State Capitol.

Cons:

Staff member on check-in wasn’t very friendly and staff member in the breakfast room was too busy on the phone to bring out a new container of milk and refresh the coffee. Having to pay an extra $15 for parking was a bit much.

Comfortable stay in close proximity to the train
Pros:

Very convenient to the train station. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly generous with many options.

Cons:

It was quiet and comfortable but the room had a musty smell when I entered. Luckily I didn’t need to use any heat or A/C which seemed to be the issue.

Good Location Park View
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel as a relaxation point between Philadelphia and Boston. The city is so quiet. At the hotel, I just saw 1 staff member. They have free Parking for guests. The room is acceptable. The best thing I loved was Bushnell Park in front of the hotel.

We chose this hotel primarily because of its location and the availability of parking, but unfortunately our experience with the staff was very disappointing.

In the middle of the day, while we were out in Hartford for a planned activity, the hotel called to say we needed to move our car immediately because they had to repair the garage door. They warned that if we did not move it right away, the car could be locked in the garage for an entire day after our checkout. We received no prior notice and were given only thirty minutes to return.

Since we had taken public transportation from the hotel, my husband had to rush back by walking in the 6 degree weather (it was during the severe noreaster in New England). When he arrived within the timeframe they had given us, the garage door had already been closed. No apology was offered. After a lengthy discussion with staff, they finally reopened the door so we could move the car.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel and would absolutely not recommend staying here.

When we entered the room, it was very dirty. The bed sheets had blood stains, which was extremely disturbing and unacceptable. It also looked like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned because we found dirty clothes from previous guests left inside one of the drawers.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel also felt very uncomfortable. There were very few guests, and the place felt almost empty and honestly a bit scary.

The strangest part happened in the underground parking garage, where there was a car wash operating inside the garage. It felt very unusual and made the whole environment even more uncomfortable.

Overall, the hotel felt poorly maintained and unsettling. Cleanliness and basic guest standards should be a priority, and unfortunately this place failed at both. I would definitely not stay here again. 🚫🏨

L'accueil était moyen.
Aucune réaction ni accueil quand je rendais la carte d'accès.
Un check out ressemble juste à rendre la clé. On ne sait même pas si le montant de dépôt a été relâché
