Honestly if you don’t NEED to come to Hartford, just skip it, it’s a sketchy city for sure and this hotel was in a rough little area. Many homeless and others outside made for an uncomfortable walk around. If it did not have the parking garage underground I would have just canceled the booking honestly. The front desk lady was awesome though.
Terrible city, terrible location, many unnerving residents around made me feel unsafe.
There is an obnoxious smell in the hallway and hotel room. The non carpeted side of the floor was sticky. The bathroom floor was sticky. The tub floor had what appeared to be black mold, the tub drain was clearly rotted and there was black mold on the ceiling. The staff switched my room to only encountered the same condition. The mattress was dirty with visible stains. The mattress was very uncomfortable.
Everything
No parking available in their own parking garage. The parking garage itself is tiny and difficult to get in and out of. No remote for the tv in the bedroom. I spoke with someone via telephone while I was there. He couldn't get me a remote or change rooms. He said to file a complaint with the website we booked through. Well, I wasn't able to do that so it left me frustrated.
Nothing, it was a hot mess!!
It a hole in the ceiling and the covers had holes in them and there was no heat in my hotel room !!
Room 708 has spectacular view of the park and Capital building. Nice hot scrambled eggs on breakfast buffet. Appreciated fresh apples and oranges. Next to the Railroad Station. Friendly, helpful staff.
Everything was ok or better, much to appreicate.
Was decent. View was great
Wish had turkey bacon or sausage.
Wi-Fi normal , café da manhã simples, TV não utilizei, tamanho do quarto espaçoso, , vista maravilhosa do capitolio , quarto silencioso, elevador, garagem fechada e coberta para uns 20 veículos

Front desk was friendly. Breakfast was good.
Paying extra for parking at the hotel, didn't know that before hand. Pillows were dirty, luckily I brought my own.
Convenient location across the street from the Amtrak station
Room carpet and furniture is rather worn. Everything worked, but carpet edges were tattered, and no extra blanket for the bed.
Odamızın manzarası çok güzeldi
Nichts
Nice views of the city
Felt a little old in the bathroom could use some remodeling
Nothing.
We had two days stay in the hotel and even after asking multiple times our rooms weren’t cleaned. The service was terrible. Even we weren’t given water bottles during the stay. Pathetic service. Horrible experience.
The breakfast buffet
Not have a extra roll of toilet paper and not having garbage can empty when I needed it
The location and the elevator music in the main lobby
The check-in staff wasn't rude. However, you can tell customer service wasn't the priority. The gentleman assisted me with opening my door because there were major door issues at this location. After I came to the front desk twice because the key card didn't work.. Instead of saying we know the key cards don't always work. He gently insisted I was doing something wrong. Like you didn't insert it right, make sure your phone isn't near the key card, pull the handle up. When I asked to be switched to a different room, he was uninteresting in that request. His response was that you need to press firmly because it's not reading the strip. How are you inserting the key card? At the time I checked in, the hotel wasn't completely booked. I know for certain because there was a family of four who didn't have a reservation. The room was clean, but the carpet was torn/frayed. The microwave (which is great in rooms) was dirty from a previous use. Coming to the desk several times during my stay to have my key card reactivated, I noticed other desk staff were more informative with new guests checking in about the incidentals holding fee (instead of just saying just sign here). They were asking new guest if they needed two keys or one. That wasn't offered to me at all. The hotel had two elevators. However, one time briefly were both working less than 5 to 10 minutes my whole stay other than that only one worked. Causing long wait times to get to your floor, which was inconvenient, especially if you had to get your key card reactivated back at the front desk. Housekeeping had to open my door , and they tried opening my door with my key card, and it didn't work for them either. The only reason I stayed at the hotel was because most hotels were sold out or the prices were extremely expensive at the last minute trying to book.
