Breakfast was not as good as we have had in other places.

The maid who prepared our room missed two wet towels a previous occupant left hanging on the bathroom door. It made me wonder about overall freshness of the room. And we learned from desk clerk she was a new hire for the job. Hmmm.

Cons:

Room was not very clean and the light fixture in the bathroom was exposed and looked like a fire hazard. Shower was not very clean either… they need to wash or change out the gross shower curtain. Tile and mirror were all cracked. It just didn’t look appealing at all.

Not on my worst enemy

During my stay with my grandparents,

When we walking to our room they had gave up the last one at the end of the hallway it was dirty and wallpaper peeling and water damaged ! Walking into our room it smelled like expired milk and the light barely turned on. The light above the mirror was out! 😭 me and my cousins went to the pool and we were scared to get in because their were no ceiling lights the front desk told us that they were not going to turn the lights on! 😐 the water was so cold and dark my sister literally thought that their was a monster in the pool u could not see ur hands under water! Bed time for us it’s like 12 at night and the fire alarm goes off I run to the front desk and nobody was there!? It turned off 6 minutes later! Breakfast time was okay everyone was tired 😴 and the only food I ate was waffles and juice and I felt sick after! The worker yelled at me and said that I needed a adult to come on the elevator with me ( my 16 year old cousin was with me) I’m 15 years old on march 10 2026 and this lady decided to grab my arm and walk me and my cousin to my room and I had a bruise ( the pic is what it looked like when I got home). I would not wish this on my worst enemy! PLEASE GO HERE GORDON RAMSEY

Pros:

Poor!!! They do not clean the rooms. They use spray to cover pee smells!!! It is disgusting. Hands will smell like perfume because they spray your toilet paper with nasty spray. Tubs do not drain. Outlets are not to code and will call the fire dept to come look at them all. They do not clean n their fans filters. Poor hotel

Beautiful facade, horrible service
Pros:

Highly recommend booking online so they have a room prepared. This time we didn't as we hoped to go farther in our journey. There were two cars in the parking lot when we arrived. Check-in took far too long. When the young man finally finished we went to the room expecting to use the bathroom right away. However, the room had a pile of linens on the bed and the light on. I don't know if it was occupied. Went back to the front desk and was given a room key for a second room. That key did not open the door. Went back Again and asked for a restroom nearby and a room key that worked. When we finally were able to get into a room there was no television remote or receiver for cable?
After all that, no apology. We were obviously fortunate to pay a high rate with poor customer service.
As disappointing as the evening was it continued when we woke the next morning and found the bill under the door with a higher rate than quoted.
We didn't stay for breakfast.

Dirty and dingy. Needs a good cleaning. TV doesn’t work. Shower was full of mildew and mold. No words.
Pros:

Won’t stay at Kelly Inn in Mitchell again! Spend the extra $20 and go to Holiday Inn Express. Rooms don’t appear to be cleaned.
