Overall, pleasant experience. Would recommend and would stay again if in the area.
Pros:

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

We were staying on the floor that was being renovated. It was a bit messy, lots of workers coming up and down using the only elevator. But the construction workers were extremely polite and would let everyone else use the elevator first.

Booking.com didn't submit my reservation, so when we arrived, we found no rooms available. They were in the middle of renovations, so if they wanted to try to find rooms, none were available. This review is about Booking.com, not Holiday Inn Express. Left a message with customer service, but there was no response. Very disappointed.
