Tried to triple charge

Book 1 year in advance but when got to property the desk tried to say my reservation was now $1300 and booked for $494 ..and they tried to act like computers was down..8 called booking.com an they told them I had reservations and had to honor the price

Bates Motel meets a dumpster fire.
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

The place is a dump. Beds are terrible and cheap. Not taken care of. Stinks of damp and mildew. Rooms are likely 30-50 years old with no updates. AC is so loud you cant talk. TV is insanely bad. Second morning the police recovered a corpse from the lake behind the motel. Never going back.

Pros:

They had Dunkin Donuts and fruit, better than nothing, the lady at the desk was very nice and accommodating

Cons:

Light was burned out, bathroom was dirty, shower had hair in it, no bath towels, no Kleenex, door locks worked poorly

Dirty and scammy feeling.

The hotel was dirty, there were people up being loud all night, there were people smoking marijuana all day on the balcony, there were other sketchy people in the parking lot, bugs everywhere and the pool was closed. There was also a problem with my bank card when I checked in, I originally had booked a 3 night stay through booking.com; my bank card wasn't working and I had just enough on a different card to book for one night. I had to update my stay on the website and then rebook for the other 2 nights in the morning after I sorted out what was wrong with my card with my bank. Upon doing so, I was charged almost triple from what I originally booked. The woman helping said it was because I booked through booking.com and the rate was cheaper there. She said there was nothing she could do and I had to hurry and rebook because rooms were filling up. This was very unprofessional and not helpful. I will never book here again or tell anyone to book here again.

Pros:

Friendliness, can bring your furry friend, grassy areas and pond to sit and relax by. Not a lot of traffic in that area anyway. Thanks.
