Had afternoon tea here and it was great! Vivian, our waiter, took excellent care of us and gave great tea recommendations!
the room was beautiful - we enjoyed the executive lounge. The door staff were very friendly and we loved the location
i was surprised by the hidden charges on room service which essentially double the cost
I stayed here 5 nights as one of a group of Viking cruisers on the London Churchill post-cruise extension.
Viking chooses these pre- and post-cruise hotels with meticulous care, and the advantages of this hotel are clear: large well-furnished rooms and excellent location near bus and Tube stops. Heavily offsetting these virtues, the hotel faltered in these respects (which I have alerted Viking to):
No hot water in either sink or shower -- all my showers were cold. The hotel advertises that London newspapers are available for free, and that is technically true. I first saw the newspapers through the glass panes of the door to the Executive Lounge, but could not get in: The concierge very brusquely told me that as a member of a group reservation (the post-cruise tour), I'm ineligible to go into such an exalted place. Then I found the same newspapers in the restaurant/bar, but I could read them only at the expense of being repeatedly pestered to buy an alcoholic drink. I finally had to tell a very pushy server "My doctor has forbidden alcohol." The breakfast serving area there is cramped.
We are platinum status holders with Marriott. Gave us first floor room, mattresses paper thin, unaccommodating knowing we had children,
Why have a platinum level, because it doesn’t mean anything. Would not recommend this so-called boutique hotel
I visited London from Azerbaijan at the beginning of June 26, and our business training was held in Marriott, and as a review, I can leave good feedbacks to the staff both in the lobby and in the restaurant, thank you for your care and work....
I had training with my colleague at this hotel, and the staff’s approach was very professional. The service was excellent. The lunches we had were delicious and very tasty. The waiters were polite, helpful, and responded quickly to all requests. A special thanks to Vivian, who provided excellent service and was especially attentive and professional. Thanks to everyone for maintaining such a high standard of service.
My friend and I enjoyed an amazing afternoon tea in The Lanes. A delicious selection of savoury bites and the sweet selection all beautifully decorated and presented in a birdcage cake stand. We also tried a different teas which were all recommended by our attentive and welcoming server called Ali, who really looked after us. Other staff were very friendly on our arrival. Hope to come back soon!
The hotel has an excellent location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Facility is very clean.
The food variety and quality in the Hotel needs to be enhanced.
no water pressure and not hot enough
I ended my London visit in May 2026 and stayed at the Marriott Park Lane for only 2 days. It is truly an amazing hotel, not just the location, the executive lounge, but to top it all, a most luxurious swimming pool I ever visited. My wife adored the white marble bathroom. It took us awhile to figure out where the music comes from.
The staff are friendly, especially the check in lady Arsema. On check out, I bumped into a young staff outside the elevator. He helped me moved 4 suite cases to split ground level. He did not wait to see if he gets a tip. What a fine gentleman. The porter got it.
I will visit this hotel again.
I checked in yesterday and still have four nights remaining, so this is an initial review based on my first impressions.
There are many positive aspects to this hotel. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Marble Arch and close to many attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The hotel is modern, clean, and well maintained. My room is comfortable, spacious, and furnished to a good standard. Housekeeping and the other staff members I have interacted with so far have been friendly and professional.
Unfortunately, my check-in experience was very disappointing. The receptionist who assisted me was neither welcoming nor helpful and showed little interest in addressing my concerns about the room. While I understand that room availability can be limited, I politely asked whether an alternative room might be available, but the request was handled by him with a very rude way in a dismissive and unprofessional manner.
The room itself is comfortable and well maintained; however, the view is extremely poor and feels more like looking out from a jail cell than staying in a hotel located in the heart of central London. What disappointed me most was not only the view itself, but the lack of customer care and willingness to assist. First impressions matter, and unfortunately this interaction left a very negative one. Customer service at the reception desk would benefit from significant improvement.
Apart from this issue with the receptionist, my experience so far has been positive. I hope the remainder of my stay continues to reflect the quality of the hotel and I will update my review at the end of my visit.
We had breakfast at the Lanes, Vivian served us, he was very friendly and helpful. Food was good too, will come back again
Die Lage und das Personal waren absolut super . Auch der Poolbereich war schöner als auf den Fotos bei booking
Great location, and the staff there is absolutely amazing, the best I’ve ever seen.
Breakfast is not worth the money.
