Ambassador stay
Pros:

I don’t often stay in this property, but every time I do, I am reminded of how happy it makes me feel to be there.
The lounge is wonderful, food portions generous and perfectly acceptable drinks options.
The spa and gym are at the expected 5 star level and whilst the rooms do vary in size, I have yet to be unhappy with any offered.
The whole team did a great job, but a special call out to Carmela for her warm and effortless service. No hotel can be truly 5 star without people who care this much.

Botanical afternoon tea
Pros:

We came for the botanical afternoon tea over the weekend, we had been speaking with a lovely lady named Marie over email who helped us with our booking, we had a gift voucher that we were having trouble redeeming and Marie was a great help!

We had a lovely afternoon, the savoury items were delicious, the scones and cakes were beautiful and fresh, the restaurant was gorgeous and everybody we spoke to was incredibly friendly and attentive.

We were looked after by Vivian. Vivian made our day! He introduced himself when he arrived at our table and asked both of us our names, he remembered and addressed us by name throughout the afternoon which we thought was a lovely touch.
Vivian was very knowledgeable about the different teas, talked us through the menu and made a few recommendations.

A small group of us came for the botanical afternoon tea back in 2018, we loved it and have been meaning to come back ever since.
8 years later, it definitely did not disappoint. We think it was even better this time around!
Thank you to everyone who looked after us.
Highly recommend.

Botanical Afternoon Tea
Pros:

Had a fantastic afternoon tea at The Lanes. Food was outstanding and the service was brilliant. Vivian was excellent and explained the selection of teas and told a story about the cakes. Thoroughly recommend.

Pros:

Last day in London stayed here before flying out. Was really good. Stayed at this same place many years ago before it was a Marriot. Still really luxurious and great location in central area of London. Enjoyed the stay very much.
