Looking forward to returning
Pros:

Large room with sitting area and desk. Free parking and continental breakfast included.

Cons:

The bathroom counter was unusually low. Sound transfer from room to room could be better but it is an older building.

A wonderful place to stay in Portland
Pros:

It was right on the trolly line and easy to get downtown.
The spaciousness and colorfulness of the room with a full kitchen was an unexpected surprise. A balcony that overlooked the street made some good people watching. There was no noise from the street. The full breakfast in the lobby was filling and delicious. The staff was very helpful and kind.

Cons:

The fan in the bathroom ran every time you walked into the bathroom

Pros:

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed free passes for the tram to get around town. The location was excellent and there were many places within walking distance. Our room was a suite with kitchenette which worked out very well for us.

Quick review of the Inn at Northrup Station.
Pros:

The hotel is very close to public transport (Northrup Station). The location is also quiet (save the passing off the train!) and chic, much like the hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The televisions next to the bed are pretty old - they predate HDMI. Don't bother with streaming services on these.
