Older Motel and it shows it by condition and smell. Price was cheap so you get what you pay for. Toilet was not cleaned from previous stay. Would not stay there again even if it were free. Staff was friendly.

The restaurant on-site was closed. Building smells like mold. Everything is outdated and dirty. Good luck getting hot water for a shower. It was just gross all around. I will never stay again and I’ll sleep just about anywhere.

The pictures online are not what you see in person. The building smell like wet water, mildew, bathroom was dirty. This place needs to be remodeled.

We did not stay at the Northwood. We had never seen such a dirty place. We turned the key back in and left. Please refund the amount to my credit card since we did not stay there. This motel needs to be closed by the health department. The bedding had not been changed and there were bulbs burned out in the bathroom- which had hair in the tub and the sink.

Clean And Cheap

This was Horrible, not even sure how this hotel is still allowed to operate.
Half of the building was blocked off with do not enter signs.
Room wasn't clean, curtains doesn't work, place looked run-down.

This hotel is in horrible and viral condition every unit and every floor. It has to be closed complete for the full Renovation as soon as possible! The water pipe in the sink is clogged and we couldn’t use it caused the water coming on the floor carpet through the wall next to the bed where my kids were sleeping. Due to the constant water on the carpet there were a mold and also the same critical and unsafe conditions all over the carpeted floors in the hotel everywhere. Most of the amenities are nonfunctional at all. The towels are provided dirty with the other people’s hair in it. TV was partially working and problem was with a volume. The beds were partially cleaned and washed. Some of the lamps didn’t work. Other people complained at the front desk but the staff didn’t solve the problem and didn’t help.

Online said there was a restaurant but when we got there, the restaurant was closed. Because we had a large trailer attached to our truck, it was difficult to go anywhere to get food (which is why we chose this hotel). Thankfully the gas station next to it had decent food. The lobby smelled terrible. The place was very run down, not at all as pictured. The room itself hasn't awful except the stain of who knows what on a pillow and a bathroom that was extremely outdated and moldy in the tub. Would not stay again.

Bathroom has hairs, AC was broken, unpleasant smell in hallways, frayed linens feels itchy

Dirty

Was told they were booked and that we had the last room. My kids thought the hallway smelled like old vomit. Upon entering the room, it had a strong musty smell. It made me question if the room had mold. Carpet looked dirty with some sort of stains in spots. We had 2 double beds for 4 people in the room. There was only 1 pillow. The bathroom light was completely out, but we could make out brown dirtiness in the tub and by the sink. The mirror also hadn’t been cleaned. There was a random comb and an alka seltzer packet left from a previous guest? I didn’t look for it because I was just shocked at what I saw, but I’m guessing there was no bath towels present either. It was late in the night but we checked out to move to another hotel. The room should’ve never been rented out.

Shower/tub drain was very slow, but worked. Excellent A/C. Lobby and rooms very clean. Lobby had slight musty smell.

Many amenities listed but none available such as no pool, no hot tub, no restaurant, no breakfast, no ice machine. There were huge holes in the parking lot, broken bottles, no air conditioning in hallway, the hall smelled, sliding door in room would not lock, mold on walls, sticky floors. Staff was excellent however. Probably will never go back.

Our room (particularly the bathroom) was uncleaned, smelled bad, and had visible grime. Breakfast was a box of corn flakes and an unrefridgerated carton of milk. I saw one review on another site saying that one employee had tried to break into their room, and I’m not surprised. One room had been visibly mangled, was missing a doorknob, and appeared to have had someone break into it. Don’t stay here. For your own safety. Our bed didn’t even have sheets. It was the worst hotel experience ever, and I have my own suspicions of what’s happened here.

1st room has frozen refrig that could not be opened. They switched 2nd said this has fridge, had to go back for 3 rd time to office , no fridge. They looked ok there is one in this 3rd room they turned up cool to maje it wor sorta cool. Next morning was going to taje shower looked at tib filthywith things in tub & tried & tried to pull handle & coukd not get any water . Ran water in sink & washed in cool water. They said you have to really yank on tub handle which they did several times to ger water & eventually rhey ssid was warm. I did not use

Various outside dooes glass was dirty & had some splotchy stuff on my room on windiw that you could not lolk out to weeds. Poorly maintained place. No real breakfast
