Great location for shopping and good eats!
Pros:

Peaceful. Good parking. Great shopping near by. The water pressure was good for bath and shower. Long body length mirror. Closet with hangers for clothes. No hospitality for room cleaning, but they supplied additional towels if needed.

Cons:

Front desk clerk really dry, not mean, but not welcoming either...in the morning or evening. She did give me a nice compliment on my dress for the evening though ...

We left at 1:30am after finding bugs in and around our bed.
Pros:

The location for my needs well.

Cons:

We found several bugs throughout the room including on the bed. Some of them were roaches and one we suspect to be a bed bug. The room was very dirty. There were several hairs on the bed linen and on the floor. There was dried up spill of some sort under the head of the bed. You could tell it had been there for a long time. We left the room after using it for only 2 hours that night due the bug infestation. It was 1:00am. The checkout person was unable to help with a refund at that time of night. So I followed up with the manager the next day. I explained the situation and send a detailed email to her that included pictures of bugs and filth. She did her own investigation and did confirm and admit that there were roaches in the room. The GM Andrea Samaroo felt that a 50% refund was adequate for having bugs on your bed, under your bed and on the counter surface near the microwave. I think that someone who is so money hungry that they will not give a full refund to a family that did not sleep there, did not shower there and did not eat there but rather felt no option but to leave at 1:30am in the middle of the night due to bugs in the bed, is really all you need to know to make a decision about if this is the place for you. I really wish that I had done 2 things differently. I should have looked at the reviews better on multiple booking sites and I would have seen that there are ongoing bug issues. Secondly I should have followed my instincts as soon as I opened the door and saw the general filth and poor maintenance, I should have not even walked into the room but rather immediately return to the desk and ask for a refund.
If this room is considered acceptable then I do not even need to see any other rooms to know what their expectations and standards are.

I did contact CHOICE corporate directly. They said it was up to the GM of the hotel to offer a refund. The genuinely did not seem concerned that I was only being offered a 50% refund.
