The Director and the other executive staff were very professional, polite And friendly!! The food was delicious.
We were very impressed with their positive attitude. We stayed in for three weeks. it was our second time in Silken Hotel . Tenerife. We hardly recommend it to everyone!!

The receptionist was pretty helpful. It was confusing to find parking even though he did try to explain it. The amenities I’m sure are good, but they close at 9pm so you can’t really enjoy much in the evening after dinner. Room was fairly clean. What was most irritating is that there was a light directly above the door (inside the room) that you can’t turn off and it is fairly bright while trying to sleep. Very odd.

Pros:

This is a great place to stay in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and placed near shopping centers, the auditorium, and main bus station.

Everything was good and as expected except for 2 things. 1 there was no complimentary water or coffee in the room. For a 4* hotel this is to be expected. Secondly there were no irons in the hotel. They offered a ironing service, but this was not advertised. When asked they said they would have it ready in the morning. Not freat when you have places to be that evening. Thus I went out for a very important buisness dinner in creased clothing.

There was no ice machine in the hotel and I had to purchase Ice at the bar for $5. Also, no one spoke English so it’s a challenge to get things there.
