Got an email from Walkaceburg Inn saying we didn't show up. We did show up and stayed the night. Sheets on the bed had some stains on them. Guy took my credit card twice for payment.

Pros:

Only spot in town so no choice. Open the front door and the smell was bad. Dirty everywhere and poorly maintained lobby, common areas and outdoor area
Rooms were clean, bed comfy.
Air conditioner was not functioning properly, i tried to addess the fact i didnt sleep all night because of it and was dismissed and told it was working properly. Stay here at your own risk.

Pros:

The room was lovely, the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. We had a very early departure and didn't know that breakfast was only available from 6:30am onwards, but the owner put a coffee on for us anyway. Thank you so much :-)

Pros:

Good location and I think it’s the only hotel in Wallesburg.

Cons:

Property is a little old and tired. Would be nice to see a reno. Update air conditioning in unit.

Horrible service. I had a medical emergency and did not even stay i the room and they still charged me and denied my concern for my medical emergency and safety. They kept my money and would not refund, I would have been open to pay a small inconvenience fee but they insisted it was my fault, they were rude and unkind and showed no care or concern for my health and safety. They said “it’s your fault” for having a medical emergency and denied my refund and kept my money regardless of the help from Expedia.

A good value. It was clean and the people at the reception were friendly and efficient. I stayed for 2 nights and they cleaned the room after the first night. You don't get that at alot of motels anymore!

We had booked a 5-night stay for one of our employees, but she couldn’t even make it 10 minutes in the room. The condition was unacceptable — dirty walls and floors, stained bedding, and an overall lack of cleanliness that made her uncomfortable and concerned for her health. She didn’t even bring her bags inside. We ended up scrambling to find alternate accommodations the same night.

Given the reviews, we expected basic cleanliness at the very least — this was a huge letdown. Definitely would not recommend this property to others.
