Leavenworth Howard Johnson
Pros:

Very nice motel. Well kept up. Very nice room. Good breakfast options.
Only drawback is the office closes at 10pm- our train arrived late so we had to walk about half a block to the fair bridge motel to get our key and room number. The staff there was very nice and because the walk had left me breathless the clerk was kind enough to give me a ride back to the Howard Johnson.

Pros:

The bed was comfortable, breakfast was really good.

Cons:

The ac/heating unit needs serviced, everytime it turned on ot rattled, so didn't get very good sleep.

Great stay just after Hwy 2 opened.
Pros:

great big rooms. Dog friendly. Felt safe letting my teens stay in one room while I was in another. Great location to walk to venues/town.

Cons:

thankful parking wasn't full since we had a roof rack, but we found a spot outside the underground area.

Nice stay, we will like to come back
Pros:

Room size and view, friendly staff, particularly Juventina, she was amazing and very kind with us. Parking was under roof, which was great as we had some snow over our stay. The location is only a 10 minute walk from downtown.

Cons:

The bed was a little too soft, and the breakfast, even when it was decent, and as much as we wanted, there were only a few options for protein, eggs or milk. No cheese, bacon or sausages off any kind. So for the first two days it was ok, after that it got repetitive. Don't get me wrong, breakfast was good, but if you are staying for more than a couple of nights, it can feel monotonous.
