friendly desk agents and clean rooms
We can depend on their consistency between properties!
Breakfast was good, except for availability of fruit. Oranges were so thick and tough they could not be peeled.
My granddaughter fell in the shower and hurt her tailbone so she could hardly walk. The tub was slippery and the shower mats they supplied were substandard which contributed to the fall. (Previously, there had been a review from a customer reporting a fall in the shower leading to broken ribs). When reporting the fall and the injury to the front desk, there was no manager present or available for contact. There was no procedure for injuries. We were told to wait 2 days to talk to a manager. The only response from the front desk was they would call an ambulance if needed. When the manager finally contacted us after 2 days, he was very rude.
Very nice staff, clean room
Super small elevator
The breakfast was everything you would expect. The staff was constantly cleaning and refilling during busy hours. They had gluten free options for me and everything was yummy.
The trash can was hidden behind a table and hard to find. It was no big deal.
Close to the mall and the staff were nice
Pretty rundown for the price
Location
Being in the basement
The location
We had to move rooms at 9 at night because of the ac going out
Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Each one of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the Vegan friendly options in the Continental Breakfast also.
Room was under the stairs, so it was a bit loud at times. We brought our noise machine and were able to sleep after people had finished checking in later in the evening/night.
Breakfast was very nice
It seemed dirt and the beds were older and sagging
The staff is warm and inviting. Everyone we have encountered, was really helpful. It was very nice to have a pet friendly room since we are moving and had to drive across country. Loved having the ability to have our 4 cats in one room - it was a suite, but much better than paying for 2 rooms and splitting them up.
The base of the box spring is ripped so our cats could get up under the bed. They are dumb animals though, so we could coax them out, but it takes a while. The last time, we just lifted the whole mattress and box spring to get at them. Much easier, but needed some strength. Pro-tip: If you are traveling with cats, you can block the back of the bad by folding up a pillow and jamming it between the base of the bed and the wall. That helps if the bed is heavy
This hotel deserves a special mention.
I have been a Wyndham member for 20 years.
This was the first hotel in all that time to recognized my membership status and offer snacks at check-in.
Kudos to you, Jay, for your work.
You are friendly and professional.
The hotel is very well maintained.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, and everything working well.
Despite being fully booked, it was very quiet.
The breakfast is completely different from other La Quinta .
Far more items and options—congratulations again
And the fitness center is a fully equipped gym.
A great choice for anyone in the area.
The bed and rhe shower pressure
The staff was very unfriendly, and the maids were rude also.
Very clean and in good repair generally. Quiet location over the weekend in a warehousing district, Many food service choices a mile away surounding the Spokane Valley Mall, only McDonalds was in walking distance. Ventilation system kept us comfortable on the worst day of forest fire smoke pollution. Rooms serviced only upon request via doorhanger...no housekeepers banging on the door at 8am. King room spacious.
Rm 217 frayed carpet entering room needs patching or replacing. Careful placement of shower curtain is required to avoid flooding the tiled floor. Bedside lamp wattage a little low for easy reading. Breakfast is basic....and the same day to day.
