Beautiful place at a great value, but make sure no loud parties are on the schedule.
Pros:

The location is on a golf course, and views from the restaurant were nice. I was pleasantly surprised by how good and reasonably priced the restaurant was. I had avocado toast with fruit for $12 and my daughter had an amazing acai bowl at the same price. They also had a cappuccino/coffee/cocoa machine for guests at no cost.

Cons:

The only thing that was a problem was that there was a bat mitzvah party that was loud and got louder until it ended at 11. We asked for a room far from the party, and the staff was really helpful in arranging that for us, but I felt bad for the people right above the party, one of whom yelled "Quiet!" at about 10:45. The room was great, but there wasn't any hand soap, though I'm sure we could have asked for some; we just used the shower body wash. I think, in such a small place, parties should either have a 10 PM curfew, or any guests who book rooms should be notified ahead of time and/or get a discount. I've never stayed at a hotel that had a curfew later than 10.

It was nice and very classy
Pros:

Everyone there was so kind! And the golf cart was great fun. It was cool to see the Illinois Golf Hall of Fame. Not a big golfer myself but if I was, this would probably be the perfect place to be.

Cons:

The hairdryer didn't really work but if that's the worst part of the experience, it's probably a really good experience!
