Pros:

Upon entering the staff was very welcoming. My room was clean and comfortable. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Also I liked the window blinds.

Location was close to my visitation friends and family

Cons:

1. Employees were seldom at front desk. There was no method to alert them for service. I waited until they happened to come out to check
2. The noise of fellow customers was loud. Absolutely no sound proofing was used in constructing this facility
3. Food was not ready for the breakfast buffet on the morning of departure. Several customers and I waited for hot food but had to leave before half of the food was ready
3. Door to room was missing a screw which caused the bolt to hang out after opening. Could not close properly or use deadbolt. Front desk employee made three trips to find right screw.

Cons:

The manager kept my security deposit claiming the room was “trashed,” which is completely untrue. I thoroughly cleaned the room before checkout—trash was bagged to make it easier for housekeeping, food boxes were removed, and nothing was damaged. The only items left behind were a couple of unpopped balloons and used towels left in the bathroom, which is normal for hotel stays.

No photos or evidence were provided to support the claim, and the charge was deducted without discussion. It felt like the cleaning staff didn’t want to do their job and the cost was unfairly passed on to me.

This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I will never stay here again and would caution others about the handling of security deposits.
