Renovations are NEEDED!
Pros:

Cleaners and front desk staff did great work but we had three people and the mattress on the pullout sofa is about 50 years old and has the sag and stains to show for it. No rollaways either. I would wait until they renovate before staying here again. Bring a noise machine too; highway noise is noticeable in the morning.

Stop relying on the Marriott name unless you are going to bring it up to Marriott standards.
Pros:

The staff was excellent and they provided great customer service.

Cons:

The main areas of the hotel are nice but the rooms are outdated. some of the appliances were very old and not up to standard. the sleep sofa was horrible. it is basically for kids but not for an adult. the rooms need to be touched up at least. This Marriott location is starting to be more like the Motel 6 in the room appearance. it is not the level I expect from a Marriott hotel. This is a 2 star place at best but could be at least a 4 star with some room renovations. I do not think I would stay there again.

They need to notify when pool is closed
Pros:

I love this hotel, however this time I went just because I wanted a relaxing evening in the pool. When I got there they told me the pool area was temporary under construction. There where nothing else fun for me and my partner to do unfortunately because as I said we just went because of the pool. I think they should notice the costumers about the pool closing so we know before booking. I also think they should have a discount if the pool is not working. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Staff was friendly but the rooms were not clean.
Pros:

The staff were nice and welcoming

Cons:

My room had a bad smell to it. Also had stains on the carpet. When I opened up a clean towel there was a long brown hair in it.
