Room is very small. Having a bit smell but the good thing is you can open the window. There is no hooks for jackets and coats in the room, only available in the washroom which is not that convenient. Front desk is very friendly. Location is great!
Stay was decent - I wouldn’t stay again. The staff was friendly! But it was overall a little more run down than I anticipated. The staff was accommodating to me when asking for a different room with a window as it was very claustrophobic without one. Overall, 3/5 stars.
My room was clean and tidy
great location, clean room, AC not the coldest but sufficient, highly recommend for price and location
Let’s start with the positives. I liked that the hotel room was clean. I liked that the elevator was quick and functioning. I also like the esthetic of the hotel.
Now the negatives. I did not like how small the hotel room was! I didn’t have much space to move around. The tv on the wall was huge and made it difficult to walk to get to the other side of the bed. I legit ran into the tv more than once. I don’t know why they put that big of a tv on the wall but the tv didn’t even work. So it was pointless and in the way. The window did not stay open/cracked. I had to put something between the window to keep it open just to get a breeze/fresh air. No fridge/microwave in the room. Really makes staying over night hard because we can’t put food anywhere we have to put it in a communal fridge which is weird.
Overall, the only thing that satisfied me was the room being clean and staff was kind. Wouldn’t stay here again unless the hotel was compensating for my horrible experience this time.
Me cambiaron de habitación y mo hicieron descuento. Deje 2 mil pesos en mi mochila 🎒 y hasta la tarjeta de Clipper se robaron la Administración no dice NADA. Necesito mi dinero de regreso y un reembolso
Convenient to the union square area and walkable. The front desk staff was nice and friendly. Hotel was clean overall. The only negative thing was the area can be a little dicey at night but I’m from there originally so I felt safe but my partner was a little nervous. I would definitely stay there again
Great stay and great show at the Warfield.
The staff are friendly and approachable.
overall it was okay. elevator kept breaking every night. On the day of checkout, I had to take my luggage from 7th floor to the lobby. there were ppl who stayed there due to a medical treatment at a nearby hospital and they had hard time getting down using stairs. It was around 300$ a night but compared to other hotels around
Small room, but conveniently located in Union square
Location was great, and very friendly super helpful.
Staff was wonderful
I’ve stayed here a handful of times and I have no complaints. Each time, the front desk staff have been friendly and courteous.
This is in a very convenient location, with everything you need within walking distance.
Please keep in mind that this is not a roadside motel or an airport hotel; you’re not going to have a mini fridge or a microwave in your room, the bathroom will be small -just the toilet and shower- and the sink will be in the room with you, which is common in boutique hotels.
What you WILL get is a clean room and a comfortable bed and a desk if you need it.
This is a busy part of the city so there is going to be noise outside, although, I’ve never heard any excessive or prolonged noise when I’ve stayed here.
It’s a safe hotel and a great value!
Enjoy the city!
Very nice hotel for the price
Very clean and nice hotel !
Found is a good city accommodation
I did some research and it came up as a good area to explore from, the transport is so easy from there and we went to a buzzy little Italian restaurant called Corzetti which was 2 blocks away and had breakfast at Mel’s diner which was a 7 min walk away that was cool.
The room was TINY we could barely get around ourselves and the suitcases, so it was literally a base, it didn’t need such bulky furniture the desk and wardrobe took up most of the room which was unnecessary. It didn’t look anything like the pics on Expedia.
The shared kitchen was great for the coffee machine, it was very clean. A little room kettle may have been nice
It was LOUD at night I think as it’s an old building the windows are thin, so be sure to ask for earplugs.
The bathroom seemed quite new but there was some hairs in the shower other wise seemed very clean.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
Be aware there is no safe in your room and we were offered to keep our valuables in the front desk safe which I wasn’t comfortable with
All in all as the hotel goes I wouldn’t stay in this area again, now having visited SF I’m not sure I would stay in this found I think it’s a little dated compared to the pics as advertised.
the staff was super friendly. It was walking distance from the financial district, gyms, great restaurants and the famous trolly
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was worse than I had expected, and I felt uncomfortable walking around, even in daylight. You could hear lots of fighting and yelling from people out on the street even though I was on the seventh floor. The air conditioning system was difficult to get programmed to have cool air all night long. Noise between the rooms carried and I was glad I had earplugs so that I could sleep when our next-door neighbors were partying late at night.
Anyone with a family young or old this hotel/hostel is not for you. It’s lovely clean, but the rooms are to small you couldn’t swing a rat let alone a cat.
I wish we had paid a little extra and stayed in another hotel.
