Pros:

The staff was very good and pleasant to deal with. The room and the lobby were very clean.

Cons:

There is some regular wear and tear maintenance issues that could be addressed. The door to the pool needs to be repaired. The room bathroom fan is failing very noisy and needs replacement. Several of the doors have shifted and the hinges need attention. The windows are very dirty and, in some cases, difficult to see out of.

Our stay was adequate, but we will not return or recommend the hotel to others.
Pros:

Didn't eat breakfast. Location was convenient.

Cons:

1. Bathroom door would not shut completely /tile wouldn't allow the door to close.
2. Bathroom fan very loud while starting up.
3. Air conditioner leaked. Floor damp by the unit.

Very disappointing, No usable toilet in our room

I had requested a joining room with another family member, I confirmed that request 4 days prior to our check in date, and then again while I was checking in I confirmed that my family member was in the a joining room from mine, and every time I was told yes we would have joining rooms. We got to our room, and heard voices next door, I called the front desk and was told that the joining room that was assigned to my family member was given to a different guest because they had a lot of people checking in at the same time and an error was made. They wouldn't move me to a different room so that we could have a joining rooms, all they would do is put my family member across the hall. Then the toilet in our room was leaking and we were told to turn off the water on the toilet and not use it. Because we had family in the room across the hall we were told to use their toilet. I was given a discount on my room because of the joining room issue, and the owner told me that he would take care of us and my family member for the toilet issues, but when we checked out no other discounts were given, and my family member wasn't given any discount for having to share a toilet with me and my family. Also we asked for a late check out on Sunday and the owners wife said she couldn't do that. I thought the least they could do is give us a late check out for all the issues. I tried to call the hotel on Monday after our stay to see what he meant about I'll take care of you at check out, but no one answered the phone. I called 7 times and it just rang and rang. I will not be staying at this hotel every again, and we travel to charlotte all the time. The fact that we couldn't use the toilet in our room and were told to use the toilet across the hall because we had family in that room was unacceptable. They never offered to move our room or anything. What would they have done if we didn't have family across the hall??

It was a very clean, very comfortable stay and I appreciate that so much!
Pros:

I didn't have time to eat the breakfast but my friends seemed to enjoy it. Glad there was a pool.

Cons:

I wish the pool was open later so we could get a chance to swim without kids.
