Overall, I like Hyatt Place. This one appeared to be under renovation.
Pros:

One the first night at this property, I was awoken at 3am in the morning by water dripping on the bed. I called down to the front desk and advised them of the matter. My room was changed the next day. However, I believe it would have been appropriate for the room rate to be reduced.

The stay was just ok

The breakfast and the front desk was good

I checked in my room with the thermostat was not working at all it was cold outside and in my room it needed a battery- so i had to re pack and change rooms ..

Good. Felt safe. Spacious accommodation.
Pros:

Left too early to have breakfast.

Cons:

Check-in process. Front desk undermanned with one single person who was excellent. She was very personable, helpful and friendly even under pressure. Phone ringing off the hook and she had a long line of people waiting to be processed.

I was disappointed but it wasn't a complete let down. I will say though that I will not return.
Pros:

We only went to sleep there since we had to travel so early in the morning. To be honest with you, the only thing I was excited over was the shampoo and conditioner for the shower. That was amazing.

Cons:

The location was under construction. I was not expecting a Hyatt to be in this condition at that rate. I could have gone to other locations and spent less money but I wanted the Hyatt experience and guarantee. So it took me for a surprise. I also requested a hotel with a restaurant and my order took over an hour to arrive because it was not on site. It was a delivery from an outside restaurant. That was disappointing as well.

The first room I was given was next to someone with a barking dog but I was given another room
Pros:

The breakfast was good and the staff serving breakfast were excellent.

Cons:

Parking was terrible since there was some kind of party activity taking place. Check in procedure didn't seem professional since there was no check in counter but someone standing at a make shift desk.

Close to the airport, pool for the kids!

Loud air conditioner, not a lot of hooks in the bathroom, our shower door wouldn’t stay closed.
