Great, will stay there in the future.
Pros:

4 blocks south of bus/train station; 6 blocks north of julia street cruise port. St. Charles trolley run right past the hotel. Easy places to eat with walking distance. Beds comfortable. Very clean. Staff was great

Pros:

Location was decent. Room size was very spacious and beds were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good.

Cons:

Some staff could work on bettering their attitude but most were friendly. The room size was large but cleanliness a disappointment. We killed 2 roaches in our room!

The location was great

Cons:

The room did not have a smoke alarm. I happened to run into staff while they were testing the fire extinguishers and casually asked about the smoke detector in my room. I was given the impression that it was acceptable for the room not to have one. What felt strange was that there was a visible spot where a smoke alarm seemed to have been removed, without any cover or replacement. This was a bit concerning at first.

There was mold in the shower, and the shower temperature control handle was loose and kept falling to the hottest setting. The carpet was not very clean and still had remnants from previous guests, and the non-carpeted entryway area felt sticky. Overall, the room appeared surface-level clean, but the air did not feel fresh.
